Dr. Eissmann is what the standard should be. Honest, direct and actually wants to help. Had a not so good surgery elsewhere and he wants to help alleviate those issues.

Incredible Doctor with and Incredible Staff. I have had both knees replaced by Dr Eissmann and have recommended him many times. His honesty , expertise in the field , and true compassion for his patients truly sets him apart in the field.

Dr. Eissmann's bedside manner is horrendous. Went in for issues related to my knee and left bawling. He does not take the time to listen to his patients and would rather keep reiterating that he won't do surgery. He told me everything was fine and I have no reason to be in pain. Went to a different orthopedic doctor and found out that I have several issues with my knee. A family member of mine went to him because she tore all three of her hamstrings clean off the bone and he told her that she will be ok and that the scar tissue will reattach them. She too went and received a second opinion and was told she should have had surgery days within the injury happening. Dr. Eissmann lacks compassion and I will never visit him again.

I am a retired orthopedic surgeon myself. Dr. Eissmann has seen and treated me on 2 occasions for progressive hip pain. He is friendly, straight forward, and thorough in his history taking and exam. He recommended a steroid injection for my arthritic hip which could give me time to function painlessly for several months as I am not ready to have a hip replacement at this time. I have talked with several of his total joint patients and am very confident of his surgical abilities.

Dr. Eissmann repaired my damaged knee one year ago. He did a terrific job. After a year my knee is as good as it ever was. He strikes me as a kind and thoughtful surgeon and I recommend him to anyone looking for a superior surgeon.

He is known to be a good surgeon, but he is quite arrogant, does not engage well, and does not encourage questions regarding the medical issue. Lots of good surgeons around, but rare to find one who is open to probative interaction, and he is not.

Dr. Eissmann is AWESOME! He's direct and honest and has a calm demeanor. He has been really great in helping me manage the deteriorating knee and shoulder joints. He's the guy I'm gonna choose to replace my knee early next year, and maybe my shoulder, though he does specialize in knees.
