I had fluid behind my eardrum that was causing hearing loss. For insurance purposes I’m sure he had to go through the process to eliminate any other issues, including putting a tube in my ear to drain said fluid that never stopped draining. After all that he found that I had a CSF Leak and he Immediately referred me to a surgeon at KU Medical in KCK. Even though that surgeon was booked they were able to get me in with another surgeon. A little over a year after the surgery for the CSF leak the tube never fell out and he did a surgery to remove the tube. Everything went wonderful and Dr Digges is literally a lifesaver and a wonderful ENT that knows his stuff. I’m thankful for all he’s done.

Unprofessional
His nursing staff were great but he was unprofessional. At my latest appointment with him he didn't care to listen to what I had to say about my issues and what previous Drs had to say. He used curse words and said that other physicians that I had seen in the last 2 weeks 'don't know ....'. He prescribed a high dose of steroids and said if you want to regain your hearing you will take it knowing that I have heart issues he basically didn't care. A side effect to the steroid is a racing heart. Even the pharmacist commented that I need to have a conversation with my cardiologist before taking them. The pharmacist even stated that a high dose is not to be prescribed for more than 3-5 days. Needless to say I left very disappointed. Going to get me a 2nd opinion.

Although I foresaw this visit going a positive direction I was pretty disappointed at the treatment received on the phone by nurse Carlee. With no communication and so many ignored messages and utter disrespect when she would take my calls I absolutely gave up and won’t bother returning.

Nursing staff was extremely friendly and greeted me and my husband with a smile. Dr. Digges seems to know what he’s doing but raised his voice at the ladies working with him. Didn’t like seeing that at all.

Unhappy!!
Dr Digges is a wonderful doctor, but his nurse name Karlie is RUDE. She rolled her eyes at me and was plain nasty when I spoke with her. Highly recommend that she learn proper etiquette with patients. We pay to come to a comfortable environment and she is flat out a bully and her top was so low cut I could see a huge monster tattoo on an intimate part of her chest. Extremely unprofessional and will cause patients to flee to a more empathetic and caring environment.

Difficult to reach
I called twice before his nurse Carly picked up and was very unpleasant. I had a urgent concern and to be treated like a nuisance made it even worse.

Disappointed
I’m leaving a one star for Dr.Digges nurse Carlee. She was extremely rude, and, agitated when I asked her a question about getting testing scheduled. She rolled her eyes at me when I was speaking and, I felt very uncomfortable. She definitely needs more training in patient care! :(

Dr.Digges is by far one of the best physicians I have ever encountered. He is knowledgeable, patient and trustworthy. He takes time with his patients and never appears rushed or preoccupied. He truly takes the time to consider each and every patient and their unique situations and concern. He makes incredibly well thought out decisions and is willing to explain and re-explain each step. He should be at the TOP of the list for recommended ENTs.
