Dr. Edward Chen, MD

After having a car accident and a neck injury, Dr. Chen took his time answering my questions and even evaluating a symptom I did not think was connected, but was. I didn’t feel rushed or dismissed and I highly recommend him if you are in need of a specialist For your pain.

Dr Chen is a great communicator. He will spend time explaining the issues. He has a great personality.

Dr Chen treated my horrible SI JOINT pain with an injection and the relief was just amazing. I traveled to Peru after that and had a great visit, I was able to dance, walk, hiked and completely pain free. The injection lasted for 4 years! I went back to him two weeks ago, and I had the same fantastic results. Dr Chen is very pleasant. His calm demeanor made me feel relaxed and comfortable. His staff, nurses, and Al are all friendly. I hope nobody steals him from all of us because again, he is the best.

Short wait. Nurse completed a great review and listened to all issues. Dr Al (PA) reviewed issues and answered questions clearly. Treatment plan discussed and agreed. Staff pleasant, professional and thoughtful. Would highly recommend.

I have been to Dr. Chen’s office five times for my neck issues: initial, first procedure, follow up, second procedure, follow up and the actual treatment. I only visually saw him at the initial one. For the two procedures and treatment, he chooses to enter after I’m already in position when I’m face down and then only communicates verbally. Each time I have hinted that I’d like to see him. Follow ups are with a really good PA named Al. His treatments are very good, but this impersonal style to me is very weird. Maybe it’s just me, because I’m used to having interpersonal and trusting relationships with all of my healthcare providers. Dr. Chen may not realize he’s coming off very aloof. Again… my opinion.

Dr Chen and his P.A. Mike Hux are the most experienced and caring professionals.

First class. Dr Chen is the best .Over 30 years he has been working on my body pain.

Dr Chen took the time to listen . He had my medical records available and had already reviewed them . I felt that ha really cared and has a starting point for my treatment.

My pain is now managed

I was in so much pain that no other doctor wanted to help me or care to help me because of my insurance. Dr. Chen read my whole medical history which took him two days. he ordered test to be done and the diagnosis came in. So now he’s helping me deal with my pain with kindness and compassionate. Then I have the PA Al, who has the same kindness and compassion.

Dr. Chen is the most knowledgeable and professional doctor I have ever met.He explains everything about the patient and the process of treatment. He cares so much about the patients, not just treating the pain but the patient. He gives you plenty of time and information concerning your medical care. The staff at this office is amazing, everyone has been so very helpful and supportive from the initial phone call to receiving the patient information packet to everything that is needed to make your appointment pleasant and easy. I couldn’t think of a better team of professionals. I feel so grateful to have found them and this will be my medical team for what I hope is forever. If you are in need of help with any amount of Pain Management, Dr. CHEN and his team are the only way to go.

DR. CHEN explained to me that he read all my tests, and suggested a plan for me. I took his advice and now with 2 hip cortisone shots I can now lay on my side to sleep. Yay!!

He Cares about the whole person with the respect every Patient's needs. I could Never imagine going to any other doctor! He is the Best Doctor I have ever known or seen. He has helped me in ways no other Doctor has been able to..... Thank you Dr Chen for being such a Phenomenal Doctor!!!!

Dr Chen’s professionalism, knowledge, and call on the correct course of care are spot on. Mike Hux to do the follow ups make for a great team in pain care.

This was a follow-up appointment from having RFA done on my neck bilateral on 5-6-24. And seen Mike Hux and yes those procedures do help me alot and have been going to Dr. Chen since late 2016 and he is the best and so is Mike Hux and everyone are wonderful and easy to talk to and they listen and care about you and your health and are willing to go the extra mile to make sure your pain level is manageable. I would not go anywhere else.

Dr. Chen and Dr. Hux and all of the staff who work at CW Pain Management are truly wonderful. I feel listened to and genuinely cared for by all of them. I feel lucky to have found them all those years ago.

Dr. Chen has helped me handle my back pain for a few years now. His bedside manner is awesome and you just realize that he understands. He doesn't push drugs but looks for the best way to handle your problems. I wouldn't want to see anyone else.

Dr Chen is amazing.

It took 2 weeks to get an appointment and then 3 weeks to schedule a epidural. Other than that I’m happy.
