Dr. Edgar Blecker, MD

I have had Dr Blecker for 12 years. Also his NP Clara Lee in Barefoot Bay office are great with me. Staff is great and answers my calls and get back with me

He had no eye contact when talking, unimformative, , said nothing was wrong with me, and at 82 said I had no arthritis. Give me a break, I didn’t just fall of the turnip wagon!

The office staff were very professional and the doctor listened to our needs and was very informative

Dr. Blecker, Sr. was the on call doctor when my elderly father-in-law fell ill with Covid. The doctor was rude and dismissive with my husband and would not answer basic questions (“What medication are you prescribing?”) and seemed completely unapproachable. I spoke with him the next day after an apparent allergic reaction and expressed concerns over complications and side effects with the other prescribed medication with my father-in-law’s pre-existing conditions. Blecker, Sr. responded along the lines of “What do you want me to do?”Honor your oath and do your job, sir. I am horrified that this is the care being given to people.

AWFUL CARE AND AWFUL DOCTOR

Clara is a competent PA excellent in her knowledge. Had issues with Insurance and denied medical attention. Dropped me as a patient. Had difficulty getting prescription refilled when my Insurance. Showed I was still active. Be cautious about using them.

It’s 9:24 a.m. Thursday and Dr. Blecker’s phone mail is full and no way to make an appointment.

He treated my mother very well. Never a problem getting an appt.

This doctors office is the worst I’ve ever seen. I’ve been in the medical profession for 30 years and never saw a worse office staff. Especially the office manager. I only hope the doctor himself sees this review. I never got to see the doctor but the office manager actually hung up on me. I have a PPO medical plan and she kept insisting that I get a referral from my insurance and even after I did she would not let me see the doctor. All I can say is a doctor is only as good as his staff, since he picks them. Be careful when going to this office.

This office is walking distance from me and the doctor is very kind. I personally have not had trouble with the office staff. The doctor listens to you, and always attempts to help me. I have no trouble even when I decline a RX. Think we all must be proactive and ask questions. I like them.

Great medical Doctor Knows what he is doing

I had been seeing multiple Dr's for years but after changing insurance the Doctor that I liked didn't take my insurance. I went to a few before finding Dr. Blecker in Sebastian FL. 2 Years 3 different Dr's hardly ever saw the Drs. only assistants never received the right diagnose. Dr. Blecker found some serious things that I was never told about. He gave me the correct medication. Now I am healing. Lucky for me. Otherwise I might have been dead by now. I have no problems with him or his staff.

If it could be zero, it would be. Incompetent. Doesn't listen. Can't read test results or diagnose. Go to the PA in the office if you are forced by insurance to go here.

I like Dr. Blecker very much but his staff was terrible. It`s very difficult to get referrals or any kind of orders done in a timely manner. When I call to see if anything was done it usually isn`t & the indifference is obvious. Would like to stay with the Dr. but the staff makes that difficult.

He is certainly competent but sometimes difficult to understand. The problem with this office is the front end. There is no compassion, flexibility, or willingness to accommodate patients with an appointment for a newly arisen issue. I've even been told to go to an urgent care center. Then what the hell do I need this office for? When he is not there the whole place falls apart. I'm not sure who is running the asylum!
