Ive worked in and around the health field for over 35 yrs. I’ve worked for some arrogant and callous doctors before. But I’ve never meet one who’s compassion level was nonexistent till now. My father with COVID was placed under his care over 13 days ago. Our attempts at getting information and current status was meet with silence except for 1 phone call where he talked down to my mother and chastised my father for her calling him. The nurses under him at the hospital were clueless on his care plan and ALL of them stated they never saw the doctor on his rounds nor did they know what the plan of care was. While battling an increasing battle with suffocation my father was also not bathed nor toilette by the doctors staff. It wasn’t until we brought the attention to an on call that he hadn’t had a BM in 14 days, was an enema ordered. No anti anxiety medication was ordered to help my Dad who was sobbing in fear until the on Call ordered it. 13 days into his hospitalization.

Dr. Richardson took care of my great Aunt at Putnam county hospital where she was admitted several times. He was wonderful , he took very good care of her . She was 90 years old with dementia, and completely deaf, but he always communicated with her so she could understand . She loved him ! They made each other laugh. She would ask for him everyday while she was in the hospital . He always took the time to talk to my mom and I about everything and always made sure he answered our questions and concerns . He would even call the hospital at night and check on her. She had 3 heart attacks while at the hospital and also pnemonia . We thought we were going to loose her a few times but she fought through it . Sadly , she lost her battle with dementia . Wonderful , caring , compassionate doctor . Should be more like Dr. Richardson!

I never had the chance to meet the Dr. The office sent me a message at 8:32 confirming my Appty. Almost there and they called saying I couldn’t see him that he was double booked. Not my fault. But I could see someone else. The girls at the front desk need to work elsewhere. I asked after waiting 2 hours how long. Response I don’t know I work up front. So I stepped outside. For 2 minutes. After another 1 hour I asked they said we called your name but you stepped out. Wow They knew I was out front
