Dr. Ecaterina Moisa-Babii, MD

Terrible doctor, she didn't want to perform circumcision to our baby in NewYork-Presbyterian. We insisted on performing the circumcision, few weeks later the skin adhered completely and we must perform a second circumcision. Stay away from this doctor at all costs.

I saw the polarized ratings here and wasn’t sure what to expect for my appointment. I’ve never written a review for a doctor before, but after seeing Dr. Moisa for the first time I felt that I had to. I move fairly regularly, so I’ve seen many doctors over the years (upwards of 10), and none has come close to the care I received with Dr Moisa. She was incredibly knowledgeable and thorough, answered all of my questions and asked me many in return to understand my history and condition, explained to me my options for care but let me ultimately make the choices, and even probed a bit about care I received from other doctors to make sure that they were all guiding me properly. Her physical exams were gentle and professional, and she was very reassuring for exams and results I was nervous for. I was only there for an annual checkup and she went above and beyond. The staff was all friendly, I got an appointment the week of scheduling it, and the office was clean. 10/10.

Dr Moisa has been my GYN for the last 7 years and she's always been very understanding and informative. Anyone should feel free to ask all the questions you like. For years I battled with fibroids that came with extremely heavy menstrual & anemia. However due to my age Dr. Moisa did not feel that surgery was a good option so for years we managed my pain and bleeding with birth control, Tranexamic acid & 800 mg Ibuprofen. However, now at the age of 31 nothing seems to be working and I was just tired of feeling tired all the time & I'm at a time of my life when I'm thinking about creating a family. Based on size of my Submucosal fybroid of 9cm and abdominal myomectomy was a viable option. Today I'm 2 days post-op and my surgery went very well with no complications. During the entire process Dr Moise was very supportive and reassuring my family had tons of questions & she sat down with them to answer them all prior to surgery. I would highly recommend her as a GYN and surgeon.

Doctor Moisa is the best,and i have changed 6 doctors until i found her.She is amazing.She makes sure that all your concerns and issues are resolved.She helped me with my second pregnancy which had a lot of difficulties during the 9 month period. I made sure that she will be the one to deliver my son.it was the most amazing experience,she took care of me very well and i didnt have any issues after. Dr. Ecaterina Moisa-Babii is the worst doctor I have ever had. I took the first appointment so I could get to work (also work at a hospital so I understand the importance of being there for patients) and she arrived over 2 hours late. The receptionist kept coming in and apologizing and she attempted to call the doctor several times but she wouldn't pick up. When she finally arrived, she did not apologize or explain herself. She also never answers emails or calls.

Doctor Moisa was my OBGYN during my pregancy. She also gave birth to my son at the Lenox Hills hospital. She has been the most amazing doctor to us, we trusted her with everything. She was always very helpfull, knowledgeable, friendly and trustworthy. She really made everything easier and less scary. I will definetly go see her again for all future pregancies and OBGYN visits and can't recommend her highly enough.

Terrible experience just trying to get my new patient appointment booked. I had just had a check up and was referred for a colposcopy by another OBGYN who was no longer available via my new insurance. No communication. No preparation instructions. Received an automated appointment reminder confirming a basic checkup - no mention of the colposcopy. If this is how patient questions and concerns are handled (rather, not handled) - I would not advise anyone to attempt receiving actual care here.

Had a great visit with Dr. Moisa-Babii! I went to the 22nd street office and staff at this location were very helpful. Dr. Moisa-Babii was very thorough, gentle and very professional. She took her time with my consult and I definitely didn't feel rushed. I highly recommend her.

I saw Dr. Moisa-Babii once. It was emotionally painful. I thought I was pregnant and that I had had a miscarriage. I was sensitive going in, but her bedside manner was terrible. She made me feel like I made up my symptoms. There were some shallow sighs and eye rolls that came from her as well. She never gave me, though I wanted, a blood test, only gave me a pee test. I just wanted to leave, so I didn't say anything. I left and cried outside because I learned nothing. I'm never going back.

Doctor Moisa is very knowledgeable and attentive with her patients. I had an issue with my first pregnancy and she was spot on and realized there is a problem early on. I can't recommend her enough.
