Dr. Eacharangad Jacob, MD

I received a very thorough evaluation by dr.Jacob by which I was very nicely surprised. Most of my experience with doctors in Panhandle is that they take minimum time for patients and sometimes they do not even fully hear what is being said to them. In contrast, this doctor is different and he is really interested to help the patient. He has a deep medical knowledge and a nice character. His office personnel is also very nice.

Sometimes hard to understand what he is saying. Treated/treating brother for Dementia. Scheduled him for Amyloid Pet Scan which isn't preformed in our area. Staff was helpful in trying to get it done in other towns but out of network & Tricare won't pay for it. Never suggest anything else, just left us hanging. Haven't heard anything from him or staff. Looking for another opinion

Paid up front.Took off work for the appointment, Waited 2 hours. Was never given any update as to where the doctor was or how long would take. Ended up leaving without ever seeing the doctor. Completely unprofessional.

We had an appointment that was made in August 2023 for December 12, 2023. We received texts as well as telephone calls confirming the appointment as recent as 20 minutes prior to our arrival at the office. UPON ARRIVAL....NOTE ON DOOR 'CLOSED' ...calling the number provided we were informed the Dr. was OUT OF THE COUNTRY! We asked why we were not notified in that we had driven 38 miles for the appointment? Answer....'Oh I'm sorry'. Very Very disappointing and unprofessional. Surely the Dr. didn't just up and catch a plane....surely there was amble time to notify those with appointments. Total disregard for the patient and totally unprofessional! Unfortunately he is the only 'show' in town. Sad Sad

I live out of town, but help care for my mom who lives in PC. I'm on her account, have taken her in for an appointment, and have HIPPA form. Dr. Jacob wont talk on the phone about mom's challenges and test results. Ridiculous in today's world.

Everyone at the practice I great. I never felt rushed or pressured. Both Dr Jacob and the technician who performed my NCV took the time to explain exactly what they were doing and ensure that I was comfortable. Dr. Jacob in particular was very informative, explaining what he was testing at different points and what he was finding overall. He even took time to answer a question unrelated to what I was there for. A truly caring physician!

Dr. Jacob is amazing. Through clinical knowledge alone he was able to diagnose my problem which was confirmed with an MRI. I found him very easy to talk to and had his full attention, which is very rare these days. Not only was Dr. Jacob able to help me, but in the past he also helped two of my siblings based on his expertise as a specialist. He is very honest and to the point. I highly recommend Dr. Jacob. He is a brilliant man.

I was referred to Dr. Jacob for a brain MRI and some other testing in regards to some memory issues I was having. The findings showed no physical abnormalities and so to explain the issue I was experiencing, Dr. Jacob goes into a 30 minute incoherent rant about how my life is in shambles, I am second guessing every decision I am making, I am not meditating enough, I am not happy with any aspect of my personal life, etc. and that these things are subconsciously creating the issues I am experiencing with memory loss. The doctor knows nothing about my personal life as I am happily married with a wife and 2 baby girls and have a very successful and rewarding career as a manufacturing operations director. He then went on another rant about how atoms and subatomic particles behave as neither waves nor particles and that our brain uses these atoms to communicate with the universe. He stated that our brains control all waves of light (gamma, microwave, UV, visible, etc) as well as magnetism.

If I could I would give negative stars. Dr. Jacob should have his medical license revoked. He refused to listen to anything that I had to say. I have never felt so small and meaningless. His bedside manner is very cold and unwelcoming. I wouldn't recommend his "practice" to anyone ever. Go see someone who has compassion for people, someone willing to find out what's wrong, someone who's not just about a paycheck.

Most thorough exam I received related to my conditions. Full report out of possible reasons for conditions. MRIs scheduled efficiently w insurance consideration. Feel well taken care of. Office/support staff just as connected to reason 4 visits.

Finally a doctor who does not rush you out the door . He was so kind and compassionate to my mother who suffers from Alzheimers . Some doctors seem to just dismiss those in her condition. He absolutely did not and gave her such good care.

Went to dr. Jacob for a NCV / EMG test the staff was very professional and make sure it was a easy process.

Thankful I found a great caring Neurolgist.

Been treating with Dr, Jacob for over 20 years. I feel I got top notch health care . If I call the office and want to be seen and I feel it is urgent, they always tell me to come right in. He always has time to answer all my questions in a way that I can understand.

Dr. Jacob is very thorow and will find out the cause of your problems. Short office wait and friendly staff.

Dr. Jacob was rude and uncaring to me. He basically refused to provide me with treatment. NOT RECOMMENDED!

I had heard positive comments from friends with complicated neurological problems and the comments from out of town doctors who treated these friends for other problems. The out of town doctors (UAB and Mayo Clinic) mentioned to the friends that Dr. Jacob was a very thorough doctor and good at dealing with complicated brain disorders. When my husband had a severe stroke, I chose to use Dr. Jacob for his neurological care and found him a careful, patient and unhurried doctor.
