The best psychiatrist
A genuine, caring, hard working doc with a great sense of humor. Often low key and laid back but extremely intelligent and perceptive, almost magically so at times. A tremendous and intuitive listener. Can't recommend highly enough!

Don’t let his sense of humor fool you;
He is kind, patient, extremely intelligent, and, best of all, caring and empathic. He’s willing to try things outside the box if there’s evidence to back it up. He assesses each patient individually, as opposed to assigning a diagnosis and standard treatment to all that walk through his door. Don’t let his sense of humor fool you; he’s smart as a whip and isn’t afraid to try a new approach. Always more than willing to work for and with you, he exemplifies what is good in modern medicine and psychiatry.

Highly recommended!
Dr. Smith is a wonderful, kind, compassionate physician who truly cares about his patients. He is genuine, open-minded, funny, and dedicated. He has a wonderful and engaging personality but don't let his easygoing manner fool you -- he has a fierce intelligence and an almost supernatural ability to understand others. Highly recommended!

The Best of the Best
Simply put, a wonderful, caring, insightful and delightfully humorous doc who genuinely cares about his patients and always put their needs first. I've been seeing him for years now and I am still blown away at times by his commanding intelligence and quick wit. Therapy with him has been a life changing experience, and I'm grateful that he has been a part of my life.

Dr. Smith seemed very compassionate. It was his secretarys who weren't. My daughter has anxiety( along with other mental health issues) when the day of her appointment came ,she would begain to vomit from the anxiety. Dr. Smith would do a phone conference, this seemed to work. This happened three times in a row. We were then informed by his secretary that he will no longer take her as a patient unless she can come into the office. Desperate to keep a doctor, my daughter left a message agreeing to go into his office. She then received a massage from his secretary stating that she thinks it would be better for her to find someone else. What kind of mental health doctor takes on a young patient, put her on medication then dumps her?? Now we are trying to find her help in these troubling times. Thanks for nothing.

Hello, i called many places looking for a psychiatrist as i needed help. I was delighted when Dr.Smith's office said yes they were taking new patients ! And they took my insurance! I called immediately ( approx april 9th) i was tolc by a delightful young woman ( or i thought) that i just needed to do a quick intake over the phone and that it would take a few days for Dr Smith to go thru them and they would be calling me for an appointment. I gave it a week, called back and got machine, left message asking about my appointment. Over the next 2 weeks i.left atleast 12 messages and got pretty desperate during the end saying i would keep my phone on me at all times, please call me, i really need a dr, why haven't they called?, then finally for them to just leave please call me and if i missed them just leave an appointment on my messages for any day at any time. They Never Answer their phone. Thur the 22nd i finally got a call stating they werent taking new patients!! I DID THE INTAKE!!
