Great Doctor who appears to be overbooked which explains some of the long waits. Answers any questions I have. His phone service is a nightmare though. Impossible to get hold of a live person. You have to leave a voicemail and since they don't get back to you in a timely manner you have no way of knowing if they received your message. Probably best to go to their office and talk to the receptionist.

Not great. After waiting 2 months I found him not interested in my husband’s health. My husband husband has HASHIMOTO encephalitis which can influence my husband’s thyroid. It didn’t but his interruption was completely disrespectful. He said he was not comfortable with dealing with the disease and immediately ending his treatment. I found him disrespectful and non interested. He couldn’t wait wait to get rid of us. I wouldn’t recommend him to anyone who has anything other than a simple problem with a thyroid problem

Great experience. Dr. Woode is personable and professional. He knows the business of endocrinology. I trust him as a physician and highly recommend his. Originally when I was accepted as a patient; his office was slightly under staffed, but he has turn this around and have adequate staffing to service his patient. I have been with him for approximately 3-4 years and am completely satisfied with his services. One of the Best Doctors in his field. Bobby Sims, a Satisfied Customer.

Dr. Woode is a wonderful doctor. I just relocated to Huntsville and was looking for an Endocrinologist. From the moment I got to clinic, I was welcomed with a huge smile by his staff. Dr Woode took the time to listen to me, answered all of my questions, and provided all the care I needed. He is patient, caring, and very knowledgeable. His staff is wonderful as well! I’m looking forward to my follow up!

Terrible. Waited over 2 hours for a follow up appointment after I had my thyroid scan, uptake, and ultrasound. He spent a total of 2 mins in the room. Fixed nothing. Explained nothing. Got irritated when I asked a question. Then left with "follow up in 3 months". I immediately found a new doctor who found out Dr. Wood MISDIAGNOSED me and I needed a slew of medication as I am extremely anemic, vitamin deficient, and my thyroid isn't working properly. I was having heart issues that were ignored and I could have died if not treated. DO NOT GO HERE! Waste of time, money, and possibly your life!

He is a very good Physician, however, he is extremely busy. I was his patient for more than 5 years, he is personable, and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend him if you're looking for an Endo Physician.

I want to start off by saying the staff is extremely friendly and very efficient. However my experience with Dr. wood was not so great. He made me feel like he was passing me along and didnt want to be bothered. I left his office in tears with frustration. I would definitely not go to him especially if you have thyroid issues.

I was very nervous and so disgusted with myself and not being able to get my A1C under control. Doctor Woode eased my mind and made me feel like I wasn’t such a failure. I love the way he explained things to me and the fact that he didn’t rush me. His staff were very professional and friendly. I can finally see a light at the end of the tunnel. I highly recommend Dr. Woode!

I have found Dr. Woode to be caring and knowledgeable and his staff are mind as well. I called to ask a medical question and got assisted right away. Dr. Woode is also very good at explaining how the thyroid gland works and where your levels are and should be. I am very pleased with the care I've gotten and I've been a patient since January 2014.

Seek medical care elsewhere - from a doctor that actually CARES and takes his oath seriously. This doc doesn't. If you qualify for financial help on your insulin, he refuses to allow the drug manufacturer to send it to his office to give to you because "I don't want to keep up with it and ain't got time to call you". That statement shows a lack of organization and a lack of caring.... especially since the insulin is delivered in a box with the patient's name and phone # on it. Staff is RUDE!

He is a good doctor. No problems so far. The info about not being able to hook up a pump and get a printout is totally wrong. I have copies of my printout from every visit. My pump and my meter are both downloaded into their system and I'm able to view the info on my phone app when needed. He's very quick to get back to me on the app. So far, so good. I like him.

I am extremely pleased with Dr. Woode. He's more than knowledgeable and his office is very organized. Having said that, this is a very busy doctor. I believe one reason why we have a good relationship is because I am involved in my healthcare. Doctors are not magicians! He can't change your behavior and habits, but YOU can!

Dr. Woode is caring and spends as much time with me as needed. The office is very organized, and my wait time has never been extemely long. The staff responds promptly to my emails that I submit through the patient portal. Although I don't agree with Dr. Woode on every treatment option for my diabetes, he is respectful of my views.

I will not recommend this practice to anyone. It's hard to get call backs from the nurse. I was required to pay a $15 fee for them to fill out a prior authorization form for test strips for my glucose monitor after it was prescribed by him to me. Then they never sent the completed form over to my insurance. They push name brand prescriptions and will almost refuse to give you anything with a generic.

I was diagnosed with Cushings Syndrome over a year ago. This was due to an adrenal tumor. The syndrome causes many health problems that include swelling, uncontrollable weight gain, depression, pain, anxiety, etc. I was referred to Dr. Wood by my family doctor and it has been a horrible experience. I was going through a lot physically and emotionally and needed a caring and thorough specialist and Dr. Wood was none of these things. He was cold and seemed to be annoyed by my questions.

I would not recommend him. He has too many patients and spends too little time with each of them. During my last appointment, he walked out the door as I was starting to ask questions. If you have to reschedule and appointment, expect to wait 6 months for the next appointment, and if you need refills during that time, his office charges a $10 fee because you rescheduled. The nurse would rather argue than be helpful, and the waiting time once you get to his office can be 1-2 hours.
