Lung surgery
I have been with Uconn for almost a decade as a post cancer patient and I had some issues with an Xray of a nodule and had Dr Walters who appeared to be nice and had my surgery and there were complications and from there on in it went downhill fast, I had issues with the surgery and was not listened to and wasn’t heard. It was kind of just move on. It’ll get better only to find out by going to my PCP getting an x-ray and him taking care of it and then I had to bring it up to Dr. Walters who didn’t believe me again was not listening to me very disappointing when you believe in your doctor and you give him your all that you have to seek other help because I feel like he gave up on me and nothing was ever explained to me & I was made to figure it out on my own, I give a lot of credit to the doctors out there that actually listen to their patients and believe what they’re saying unfortunately not this one !

Would not recommend
I would not recommend anyone to see Dr. WaltersHe was rude. I am an acquaintance of his wife’s and felt I would be at least treated with kindness not looking for special attention.

Highly recommend Dr Walters and Nancy NP
What a wonderful team they make!!! They are both so caring and empathetic . I had surgery performed by Dr. Walters. There was never any doubt in my mind that the surgery wouldn't be a successful... as it was.I had exceptional care from both Nancy and Dr. Walters. I highly recommend them.
