I would recommend staying as far away as possible from the so-called doctor.

Have been with Dr Tompkins for a number of years. I'm 75 and he has been keeping me in excellent health. (I do what he advises.) He is very concerned about overall health; he looks for the cause of the symptoms, not just treating the symptom! I am very safisfied with Dr Tompkins.

Worst Primary Care Doctor I Have Ever Dealt With
Dr Tompkins has been neglecting my parents care since they started seeing him. His only concern is weight. If you have any other ailment…forget it. He won’t listen. His only concern is to fat shame you, and convince you that the only thing that will help is to lose another 10-15 pounds, regardless of symptoms. If you have symptoms of cardiac distress, he won’t send you to a cardiologist, he will just hand you photocopies of exercises people over the age of 50 can’t do. Wasn’t till my Dad ended up in the hospital, before anyone took the time to check him for blockages. Only to find out he had numerous blockages of 90-95%. Everything that my father has told Dr Tompkins for the past couple years, should have triggered him to order an angiogram. But it didn’t. Have a hip that needs to be replaced? Nope. He will make you wait another couple years and make you lose weight before you will receive a referral. Even though this ideology has been ruled out by numerous medical journals.

Medication Refills
Doctors are wonderful, but getting medication refilled and sent to the correct pharmacy is terrible.

great caring MD
I have been to this clinic several times since moving to the area. Both he and his nurse practitioner Asia were caring and competent. Everything was explained and the NP was concerned that I may have cancer and did the appropriate tests and specialist consults. Dr Tompkins has been diligent with his follow-up and reordering medications. I couldn't ask for better care

Dr. Tompkins was very nice on the first visit; however, after that he has been very abrupt with me and told me on one occasion that it was best to go online to find solutions to my non-life threatening but life-altering symptoms. He doesn't tell me what blood tests he orders. He is in and out so fast, I don't get a chance to get any question answered. On annual exam, he listens to my heart, lungs and abdomen, then sits down at his computer without asking if I have any questions. On two different occasions, he was on the verge of being rude. I think, for whatever reason, he prefers I go elsewhere. I will.

Probably the most worthless PCP I have been to. Ive went here for 3 years and seen then actual Doctor once. Normally end up going to the urgent care because these people are clueless.

Ill for months, forced to find new PCP by previous PCP. Only saw nurse practitioner 1st visit. 2 days later, spent a week in the hospital. Appt w/ Dr Tompkins this morning (4/25/16). 2 hours later had to call an ambulance myself, & am now admitted to hospital AGAIN. Dr T doesn't believe in fibromyalgia, so he just removed it from my chart, without doing any testing. Thorough testing was done years ago. Fibromyalgia is real. Incompetent doctor & nurse practitioner. You've been warned.
