Dr. Richter performed my rotator cuff surgery. My experience was phenomenal. He is a very competent and compassionate surgeon. He was supportive of my recovery including my PT and acupuncture. I would recommend Dr. Richter if you need orthopedic surgery.

Words will never be able to describe how grateful I am for having Dr. Richter as my surgeon. He did my ACL and PCL. Through the months of knowing him, he has been the absolute best. He reassured me that everything is okay and it was! He was so transparent in every step of the process and so knowledgeable it truly was amazing and I'll always be honored for having Dr. Richter to work on me. I won't ever recommend anyone else. He is truly the best!

I simply could not have asked for a better surgeon. I had a complete tear of the supraspinitus tendon in my right shoulder. Dr. Richter flawlessly performed the reattachment surgery. He, and every single person working under his guidance, are highly personable, completely professional, and absolutely top notch at what they do. I feel unbelievably fortunate to have him in my city of residence. I could not imagine receiving better care anywhere in the world.

AWESOME! We had been dealing for 1 yr and 6 months trying to get a diagnosis for my daughter's hip pain. All test (X-ray and MRI were Normal). 6 months of physical therapy, still pain. Finally we went to see Dr Richter. He acknowledged her pain and symptoms and ignored the tests. Opted for surgery for a torn labrium, and bingo.... pain gone and she is back to running and track. Very personable, down to earth and remembered us and his patient well into 6 months later. Definitely a 5 star rating!!

In February, 2017, Dr. Richter repaired a severely damaged rotator cuff and other injuries to my left shoulder. After consulting with other surgeons, Dr. Richter carefully explained the options open to me. He did not find out about my injury until relatively late, so he scheduled my surgery as soon as possible (within a week). He was always very kind and upbeat and treated me with respect, both before my surgery and at all follow-up appointments. I cannot recommend Dr. Richter highly enough.

Subsequent to my hip evaluation by Dr. Richter, I followed his medical advice and reduced my weight by 50 pounds, reduced the strain on not only my knees but miraculously eleminated my hip pain. I highly recommend Dr. Richter for all orthopedic issues. I am now planning a thru hike on the Appilatchian trail in 2018.

Fantastic doctor that was highly recommended by a close friend. He answered all my questions about my upcoming ACL surgery and even took the time to answer my mom's questions about her nagging shoulder pain. Dr. Richter is extremely knowledgeable and I would recommend him to anyone.

Started by cranking wife's hip to the point she yelled, then told her to stop so he could examine her. Followed by telling her she was overweight and need a lifestyle change or he would not treat her. Din't read MRI which showed abnormal and told her nothing was wrong. She left in tears after traveling 3 hours for this appointment. He has no bed side manners, compassion for patients or sympathy. Do not waste your time with him!!
