Dr. Drew Thomas, MD

He neglected to tell me things I needed to know before agreeing to the surgery. When I went back to see him he was unimpressed with how that affected me and when--six months after the surgery--I notified him in writing that I still had that problem he did nit even follow up.

Mr. Thomas was rude, implied that i was lying, what he put in my medical record and what he said in person were two different things.

Dr. Thomas was professional yet friendly and accessible (no trace of the 'God complex' that affects many M.D.s). His explanation of the cataract procedure was excellent and free of excessive jargon. The procedures were completely successful and without complications.But, here is my most important takeaway: He saw that the replacement lens in the first eye was not perfectly centered by a tiny fraction of a milometer. I wouldn't have known the difference. However, Dr. Thomas would not settle for less than perfection. he fixed the lens placement immediately. In my opinion this is the attitude you want in a surgeon, only a perfect result is acceptable.

My cataract surgery was awesome, pain free and so successful! Dr Thomas & his team are the best, great experience, I am beyond excited at how great my eyes are after he removed my cataracts!

I found Dr. Thomas to be extremely knowledgeable. He explained my problem in terms I could understand. He brought my vision to the best I ever expected in my lifetime. What a treasure in Monroe!
