Dr Howard is a caring and trustworthy surgeon. His professionalism and that of his support staff is unparalleled. I had a great experience and would 100% do it again and recommend him to all.

I cautiously approached my decision for a gastric sleeve procedure in 2019. It’s a serious decision. Dr. Howard guided me through every dimension of the procedure - Preparation, details about the procedure, recovery guidance, and expected lifestyle changes. He gave me personal education and a partnership on how the gastric procedure can be a success. I was 334lbs. I lost half my weight and now very steady at 170lbs. My weight came off quickly (12mo), but the caring advise on lifestyle changes helped me to maintain my desired weight. I have partnered with my doctor during my journey. Feeling excellent and full of energy. The advice and guidance has been excellent. Very direct, caring, and understandable.Many do the procedure, but don’t take the time to understand it and more importantly follow the advice of the doctors.

I am so please with Dr Howard, from initial consultation to post surgery recovery. Dr Howard has done my umbilical and hiatal hernial surgeries, as well as bariatric sleeve. Very minimal post op pain and quick recovery. You would do well to select him as your surgeon!!

Dr. Howard told his assistant not to tell me he was sorry I fell. Assistant kept saying sorry you fell. I was crying in pain whole left side of my body. Went down on left knee and rolled and I was out cold in test room. One minute test after surgery. Next woke in hallway. Dr. Howard, assistant, anesthesiologists, was standing around me on roller bed. Only assistant and tech were. After I fell Dr. Howard asked assistant why you saying this to her? Assistant said she is a nice lady. I did not have time to fully wake from medication given to me during surgery. I reported and reported to Methodist at The Woodlands. Memorial Hermann the Woodand's I was in ER shortly after surgery. I think may a week later I was at Memorial Hermann. Dr. Howard did not want to go to the Methodist at the Woodlands. Test results I had bleed at top of stomach where I had sleeve surgery. Report says full of black blood. Dr. Howard meets me in hallway and said do you not realize you are not my only patient.

I had an umbilical hernia repair with Dr. Howard. He was very friendly and approachable. I felt very comfortable while under his care and trusted his ability and knowledge. Plus his team and staff was very nice and helped answer questions and ease my worries and concerns. I felt very taken care of and felt like they took care of me like family.

I highly recommend Dr. Drew Howard for several reasons. He is kind, compassionate, and understanding, but most importantly he is extremely knowledgeable.

Dr. Drew Howard changed my life, my very first visit was the beginning of a new life, Dr Howard is honest and loyal, Dr. Howard made me feel as if I was family I trust him and when he said my health problem would be solved I will slowly come of medications it happened I went from 250 lbs to 122.5 lbs I feel good. My sleeve surgery was May12, 2020. Everything went well. My visits before surgery was smooth and went well. I was in pain when Dr. Howard visited me on the day after surgery and wanted to stay an extra day in the hospital which was no problem for him. My 2 week visit I was right on schedule. He prayed with me before surgery and he preformed 2 procures that day. He removed my hernia and did my sleeve. My experience has been wonderful. I trust Dr. Howard to do what he says.

I met with Dr. Drew Howard 1 time so far and I found the experience very positive. He is going to try to help me with a revision for a failed RNY surgery done 14 years ago. He was very knowledgeable and very professional and made no promises. He has sent me to do some testing and he will perform an EDG. He gave me a little hope.
