God Given Talent
I was blessed to be a patient of Dr 'Doogie' Wisch for 6 years, he performed five life changing surgeries on my dominant left hand, and one on my shoulder after i was attacked by a client. He saved me from Disassociation Disorder as well, and even blessed me with telling me instead of having thumb surgery that 'you better consult with who i did, a Ob/ Gyn'. 'i knew you were too happy, Lisa you are pregnant'. He was there even for my graduation as he made me realize i no longer could do my job, and applied for me to be retrained. Thanks to that day, I am now working on my Masters Degree in Counseling. Oh and you really need to look closely at my hand to see my scars. He is a masterpiece!

Awesome hand surgeon
The staff, and this doctor are wonderful. They are always on time, and friendly. Although I’ve never had hand surgery, I highly believe in his ability. I have been getting injections of Cortizone, and three of my fingers for years, he hits the exact spot every single time and that’s why I don’t doubt his abilities as a surgeon.

Dr. Wisch is very conscientious and thorough. I'm very pleased with the surgery outcome of my wrist and thumb. Having a lot of sensitivities and allergies I was hesitant to have the operation. Vincent helped me understand the operation and what to expect in my recovery. Vincent also found an antibiotic that I wasn't allergic to! The entire staff worked hard to make sure I could successfully have this operation. I'm so glad I had it done because I have no more pain and full use of my hand again, 13 weeks later. Thanks to all the staff who adjusted scheduling to fit me in when I needed it. I'm very grateful that this operation can be done so well.

I’m a new patient, but after my first visit, I can see I’ve chosen the right Dr. to handle my condition. Dr. Wisch is personable, direct and to the point, shared my x-rays with me, which showed me exactly wherein the problems lie, and explained the procedure he would have to do, step by step, which I totally appreciated. I highly recommend Dr. Wisch!

I absolutely love Dr. Wisch as well as his PA vinny. The staff at this office in Bristol, is phenomenal. I swear they are magical. I’ve been suffering for 9 months from a car accident. I had surgery, with another provider, that didn’t go so well. Switched to DR. Wisch after realizing how much I liked the pt therapists in his office. I don’t feel like a number! My scar almost completely disappeared! I’ve actually enjoyed working with this office and all their expertise!

I had a surgery on my arm for nerve damage with Dr Wisch. After the surgery I had an appointment and told him i still had conditions. He called me a liar because he "fixed it". I now see a different doctor to fix the botched surgery he did on my arm.

Had arthritis in my left hand thumb. Surgery went well, no issues, Dr. Wisch and PA were clear in explaining what would be done, what the recovery would be like and accessible for questions. The pain was managed very well and full recovery was right in line with his estimate of time to regain full use of the thumb.

TOTALLY missed MRI film ( as did radiologist at CHH).. Had sever pop while training my dog in right index knucle area.. Could not grasp as finger would go off to the side as I tried to grasp.. Looked at MRI the the CHH radiologist missed as well.... I was told by PA bruised bone.. Dr. Wisch said MRI showed nothing.. After FOUR MONTHS went to another hand specialist.. HE IMMEDIATELY saw a 100% rupture of ligament off index knuckle! Went right in for surgery! Almost needed joint replacement!

Dr Wisch is top notch...... I have been his patient for 25years and had multiple surgeries done by him. My confidence and trust in him is such that for my most recent surgery I drove 11hrs as I've moved to Maine from NY. It used to take me 1&1/2 hrs to get there. He is great, explains things thoroughly, cares and loves his work. The only negative is the office staff. I no longer can just leave a message for Dr Wisch! It's a big run around and usually takes several calls to get what I need.
