Dr. Douglas Wenger, MD

Not a very good doctor. Doesn't listen to me. Don't ask any questions or he gets mad.

Waited an excessive time in exam room before seeing doctor. On entry, he didn't smile or make me feel comfortable. Went straight to computer, and kept his face there during entire visit. Didn't listen to my health concerns. Asked very few questions about me. Didn't develop any rapport whatsoever. I appreciate when a doctor and patient can work as a team in bringing about optimal health management. I would not want Dr. Wenger on my team. I feel he'd not have much to contribute, but a rudimentary pre-conceived idea of who I am as a person. Received copy of visit after appointment was over. Was filled with wrong information. What I disliked the most was Dr. Wenger's inability to address the health concerns I came with. Instead he pushed his agenda, and became defensive when I was not in full agreement.

Not knowledgeable in ANY mental disorders like depression, anxiety, OCD etc. Knows more about how medications SHOULD work than looking collectively at the effects and the person as a whole. So tied up with making his patients adhere to the rules of the office that he forgets he is treating adult human beings. Will let you see his CNP but 100% of the time, but charge your insurance as if you saw an MD.

Has been the best Doctor I've had in 30 years. Very understanding and works well with his patiences'. His staff is very helpful and caring. I would highly recommend him. They are in a brand new building now.

I had the pleasure of meeting Dr. Wenger and his staff for the first time and I could hardly belief efficient the office ran and how friendly and attentive the staff was. Dr Wenger took his time to get to know me and my history. He was cordial and non-judgemental. I've been trying to find a doctor that was under my insurance and one that would take me as a patient and I found that very difficult. My friend Chris recommended that I see him. She also had nothing but praise for Dr. Wenger.
