Dr Schuckmann is best! He performed a toe fusion two weeks ago and I'm doing great! He is companionate, takes time to listen, and greatly cares about his patients.

For my mom's first visit we waited for nearly an hour. He was cold, unapologetic and spent maybe 3 minutes with her, picking at her scab and saying come back in a week. Thought maybe it was just a bad day. Next visit we again came 15 minutes early for her 1 pm appointment like text message said only to find the office is closed till one for lunch. Sat in the car waiting, thinking we'll there should not be a wait since we are the first after lunch. Waited 40 minutes for him to come in and say looks good, don't need to see you again with that same dry personality. He never put anything on the wound either time so we basically paid for him to pick at it one time.

Dr. Doug was and is a good doctor. He takes great care of my feet.

Dr Schuckman saved my toe. While another wanted to amputate Dr Schuckman worked on it and saved it. Thanks for taking care of me.

I had made an appointment a while back, THEN read the reviews. It was too late to cancel. I found Dr Schuckmann to be extremely competent and communicative. He explained everything at great length. I had a great appointment after a short wait time, and my feet feel better than they have in quite some time.

He did my bunion/toe surgery 5 years ago. He shortened my big toe to the point that I have no balance on the left side of my foot. When I asked him a few months after the surgery what was wrong, he told me that I was like his wife and had "piss poor healing abilities" and argued with me. I now have to wear a prosthetic in my shoe and my two toes next to the big toe are deformed. He argued with me about everything. I should have known to steer clear when his intern told me that the surgery I was having was his "bread & butter".

I had a horrible 1st visit with Dr. Schuckman, I will never go back to see him and I will not recommend anyone to go see him. He brushed me off with my questions and concerns about my situation. He basically told me that everything was just fine the way it is. When I got a 2nd opinion from seeing another Podiatrist I found out that I had an infection. Don't waste your time or your money because it's not worth seeing a doctor that doesn't really care about your needs.

I had an absolutely horrible experience with Dr. Schuckman. During my office visit with me, he minimized my condition, refused to listen and argued with me. When I became frustrated and upset, he mocked me for crying. He threw his gloves and slammed the door. He told me my condition was based on my inability to do simple math. I would strongly urge others to choose another provider - patients should never be treated the way he treated me.

Highly competent, well-supported by medical and office staff. Articulate, easy to understand, high level of empathy. I wish that he could be cloned so that we could have specialists in other fields like him.
