Wrong Body Part
I could not get this man to focus on the Chief complaint that I had. There is no note of it in his records, although there is in the reams of forms that I had to fill out before getting there. Then he way, way, way overcoded the visit. It was a first visit, but he spent less than 10 minutes with me, while representing that he had spent 30-44 min. So he either under spent time with me or overcoded. Gave me a picture, with no words to describe it, that he said was available at local medical supply stores. Not true at at least two of those available in Durham. They'd never seen it. And because there was no verbal description, I was unable to search effectively online and unable to find it. So he wasted even more of my time. Worst health care professional ever. Minus 11 stars.

I saw podiatrist Dr. DOUGLAS W SCHREYACK, DPM regarding swelling/pain in my feet and ankles. I was not happy with the visit. First, it took me almost three weeks to get an appointment, and then when I saw him yesterday, he threw broiler plate questions at me. Spent less than 3 to 5 minutes, wrote me a prescription, and asked me to follow-up if pain/swelling continued. However, he asked me a quick question, if my family had a history of gout? I said no, but even before I could even explore the possibilities of potentially suffering from gout, he left the room to go check on my x-rays on DukeMyChart. They did not have a computer in the room at that facility. He returned and told me that the x-rays were looking fine, he was prescribing a steroid and his nurse took it over from there. I am certainly not going back to this doctor again, or take the medicine he prescribed. I researched on my own, and reconfigured my diet to get rid of gout. Did not take any medication.
