Dr Doug was amazing!!!! Helped my son and husband with their altitude sickness and got them on the mountain with in 24hrs of seeing them at our house.

While in Edwards, CO earlier this summer, my husband and I contracted Covid although we had both been vaccinated. My husband’s temp rose considerably one evening, and we called Dr. Mayeda (Alpine Mobile Physicians) at 5:30 pm after a referral from a friend. His PA came to our house within the hour and stayed with my husband until 11:30 that evening! He checked all his vital signs and immediately started IVs and oxygen. He also gave him a B-12 shot, several antibiotic shots and meds to take orally. Dr. Mayeda and he came back to check on him at least 5 more days. He also called nearly every day to give us the results of lab tests. We couldn’t have been more pleased with the care and concern we received from Dr. Mayeda and Robert. I truly think they saved my husband’s life as he was also developing pneumonia. It was like having a traveling hospital come to our house! Such a blessing to have that kind of care these days!

For twenty years, I've struggled to sleep well at altitudes over 6K (I wake up constantly all night long = no REM sleep = I'm a wreck after a few nights). This year, I got a recommendation to contact Dr. Doug Mayeda at Alpine Mobile Physicians to see if he and his team could help. A staff member showed up within hours of my call and checked my vitals. Dr. Mayeda got on the phone with me to review his recommendations for an inhaler to use during the day and an O2 generator to use at night. The result was immediate and impressive: my first decent night's sleep in the mountains! Another team members checked on me a few days later, and Dr. Mayeda provided a follow up phone call consult. They picked up the O2 generator after I'd gone back home. Couldn't be happier with the results and service!

Dr. Mayeda has been a lifesaver for my husband and I. We've both recently been through challenging physical issues. I had, unfortunately, broken my foot when my husband fell ill with a virus. I was unable to get him to a doctor. I called Dr. Mayeda because I did not know what to do. He arrived at our home shortly thereafter, administering an IV for dehydration and delivering the necessary medications that he needed. Dr. Mayeda took an aggressive approach to his care, I believe that had he not, my husband would have had to have been hospitalized. His rapport with my husband was incredible and this is a man who refuses to seek treatment for the mere fact that his trust in doctors has been tested over the past three years. It's so important to establish a trusting relationship with a doctor and Dr. Mayeda, along with his nurse, Alma, did just that. He has never felt that any doctor truly cared about his wellbeing, only the bottom line. Dr. Mayeda is a phenomenal doctor and, man.

Dr. Doug goes above and beyond and is incredibly knowledgeable. He backs up all his suggestions with research and is super reliable!

Dr. Mayeda offers the best care possible as he truly is attentive and al about his patients. I highly recommend Dr. Mayeda and trust him fully as my health care provider. He offers insight, follow up and flexibility every time I make an appointment.
