Dr. Douglas Massick, MD

My appointment with Dr. Massick was extremely thorough. A pleasant and totally professional, his examination was extensive and revealed why I had almost total loss of my voice. He referred me to Ohio State. The doctor’s, at OSU, exam confirmed what Dr. Massick had found. No further medicines or procedures were recommended. After 3 months and 1 week, my voice returned. I will continue to see Dr. Massick should I have any further issues.

He is a very pleasant man and easy to talk to and he explains everything to you before surgery or a procedure, if anything goes wrong or you are concerned about anything he will get you in the same day and see what is going on, which is amazing..

On February 21, 2019, I had a thyroidectomy performed by Dr. Massick. My thyroid had gotten very large and was life threatening. Dr. Massick has a very caring and understanding approach but when needed he will be direct which I appreciate. His guidance, patience with all my questions and knowledge helped me to proceed with the surgery. I highly recommend him to anyone who needs a doctor. He takes a lot of time with patients so sometimes you may have to wait longer for your turn at an appointment

Dr. Massick is amazing. I had thyroid surgery in November. Dr. Massick and staff are very compassionate, caring and selfless. Awesome experience even though it was surgery. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Dr. Massick was quite thorough during my appt. having had problems with my ears and nose for years without any solution Dr. Massick was,in my opinion,determined to find a solution to my problems and he did. I was referred to Dr. Massick for my parathyroid condition. I had previously had two failed surgeries in West Virginia. Dr. Massick performed my surgery as an outpatient. It was a great success. He is a wonderful caring doctor. He speaks well and really has a great manner to him.

Great doctor. Had surgery took extremely good care of me. He had his assistant call me to make sure I was doing okay. Him and his staff went above and beyond to make sure I was oaky.

Dr. Massick and his staff are wonderful. They have treated close to 50 of my family and friends. Dr. Massick did a great job curing my husband's thyroid cancer and he cured me of my sleep apnea. I 100% recommend him to everyone for their thyroid and sleep apnea issues. I have been to other ent offices, and I am always amazed at how well Dr. Massick can relate and speak in a way I can understand. His staff are amazing.

I had seen several other ENT physicians in Columbus and felt I was treated like a commodity with allergy testing and CT scan for which I was charged an outrageous amount. Dr. Massick and his staff treated me well. Dr. Massick spoke to me in a way I could understand, his staff were very caring, and my sinus and nasal surgery went great, I am breathing well and have not had a sinus infection in one year!

My doctor referred me to Dr. Massick due to my chronic sinusitis and nasal obstruction. My doctor was very complimentary of Dr. Massick's bedside manner and surgical skills. This opinion was well founded, as he was very personable, knowledgable and able to relate to me on a personal level. We initially attempted medical therapy, however nasal and sinus surgery was necessary and that was a breeze. I felt great one week after surgery and have breathed great and been infection free for one year.
