Orthopedic Legend
In March of 2015, at the age of 55, I received a disappointing outlook from the referred surgeon on my severely torn rotator cuff. That doctor predicted that there would be no way I could run in a marathon 4 months after the surgery. Someone suggested I go see Dr. Goumas for a 2nd opinion. Without downplaying the severity of the damage, his more optimistic outlook that I 'might' be able to do it was enough for me. With his skilled ability and fantastic Apple Therapists he referred me to afterwards, this 'Humpty Dumpty' healed quickly and did complete the heart-set marathon less than 4 months after the surgery. Since then, I've returned to Dr. Goumas for a dislocated shoulder and now a torn left rotator cuff. His optimistic nature is great for one's spirit in coping with physical disruptions we all go through. I've referred him to numerous people in my circle, all of whom have experienced the same satisfaction and confidence in their results.

'Expert care, quick recovery, highly recommend!
We had a wonderful experience with my son’s orthopedic shoulder treatment. Dr. Goumas was incredibly personable and knowledgeable, which made my son feel comfortable and at ease. He took the time to understand his athletic injury and provided a compassionate approach to his recovery. I truly appreciated his honesty in discussing the treatment options. I highly recommend Dr. Goumas for any young athlete in need of orthopedic care!
