Dr Donato Stinghen is absolutely the worst, most arrogant surgeon ever. In 2005 he did surgery on on colon and I developed a horrible infection. He refused to see me for 5 days, leaving a hole in my stomach oozing. He said he wanted to wait until my temperature hit 102 degrees. On a Friday evening my temp hit 102,I called him and he asked me to meet him at the Alameda Hospital ED at 7 am the next morning. He showed up at noon (5 hrs later) after he finished his golf game. Truly. It’s been painful for yrs and now I find I need incision hernia surgery because for 15 years my abdomen has continually been tearing because of the terrible job he did closing my insides up. Run, run, run away.
