Dr. Donald Novy, MD

I have been a patient of Dr. Novy’s for over 20 years. He has always listened to me and care about me as a patient. I needed a doctor that was willing to let me explain, however long it may be, what I was experiencing or going through. He has always given the tests I needed or checked things as far as he could before recommending a specialist. He’s not afraid to try what the patient wants, but he also doesn’t shy away from letting me know the best course of action. When he joined in with the other doctor in the Sandhill building, things were chaotic at first. That wasn’t the doctors fault. The Dr. Novy was doing the best he could while his staff adjusted to new entry systems and protocol. He’s the kind of doctor that you don’t often find anymore. I’m sad to hear he is retiring, but I hope other doctors will have learned from him about their bedside manner. Listen to your patients and work with them. Don’t not prescribe the best medicine because you were told to only use generic.

Very unprofessional, Very disorganized no care what so ever in the world for patients and people, I went there as a new patient the nurse wasn’t able to draw my blood, i was told on the day of my visit which it was a Saturday that I will have a blood work prescription by Monday After 9 days I still didn’t have my blood work prescription, also they were not able to send an approval to my insurance for my medication a heart medication, I was told that the doctor needed to see me again to talk to me, so after 9 days I went back to the office my appointment was at 4:45 I called them at 4:20 and told him that I was going to be 10 minutes late I was told no problem we’re here, I got there 12 minutes late 4: 57 And I was told that the doctor left at 5 o’clock obviously the Receptionist did not look at the clock, horrible experience I wouldn’t recommend this doctor or office to my worst enemy.

Dr. Novy either does not care about the patient, is not knowledgeable and is often unable to find a diagnosis.

My husband and I have been cared for by Dr Novy for 22 years and he is a gem! He always listens and cares and wants to do the right thing!

He's fine but his staff is so rude.

He is either not able to properly diagnose or simply does not care about his patients.
