He was my children then my grandsons Pediatrician. I could not ask for better as a physician. He was kind, compassionate, caring and went above and beyond what he needed to do to heal your child or see that he had the best care. I miss him in practice.

I've been with Dr. Nelms for 8 years, and he always has the most encouraging words, especially for tired new mothers who lack sleep with sick children. He's always so welcoming. When my children were babies, he's the only doctor who could check them without them screaming upon seeing.

Amazing man and fabulous pediatrician. Dr. Nelms cated for me from ages 5 - 18. He is now the pediatrician for both my children. He has an extensive medical knowledge and is always up to date on the latest studies and treatments. He's a no nonsense doctor who never fails to treat the patient as an individual case and not just another name he has to check off through the day. He has raised the bar so high for my expectations of medical care it has made it hard to find other physicians.
