I first became a patient of Dr. Donald Maxwell under emergency circumstances when it was discovered I had multiple tears in my retina in both eyes. His immediate and expert action saved my vision and I am forever grateful. Over the 17 years that I've known Dr. Maxwell he has given me very trusted advice and follow-up on matters of the eye that had nothing to do with the brilliant eye surgery he performed long ago. Dr. Maxwell's talents and art as an excellent surgeon and genuine compassion

I was recommended to Dr. Maxwell for treatment of a serious eye condition, and have now been a patient for 2 years. My successful outcome was a direct result of his surgical skills and knowledge. I am fortunate to have been under the care of Dr. Maxwell and his skilled staff, and knowing they are available for any future treatment I may need gives me great confidence. I am very thankful for their care and concern for me.

Dr. Maxwell is very thorough and meticulous when he cares for his patients. I have been a patient of his for approximately fifteen years, and have the upmost respect for his abilities and decisions he has made concerning my vision problems. It is easy to schedule an appointment, and he has told me many times if I feel like something is changing or happening with my vision to immediately call his office, and they will get me in to see him. The staff in his office are very customer friendly.

it took over a week plus 2 follow up calls just to get an appointment SCHEDULED. I find the doctor to be very arrogant and unwilling to explain what is going on. His nurse is exceptional. SHE is very people oriented. I find it very unprofessional for a doctor to tell you that he doesn't remember you. I don't expect a busy practice to have a good memory of everyone, but you never should tell them that. Look at your notes from the previous visit.

I was impressed as soon as I enterd the office. Everyone (the staff) was friendly, courteous and professional. After reviewing my results Dr. Maxwell discussed the urgency of my situation and advised the need for emergency surgery. He pulled the staff together and my treatment was done. Today I still have vision in my eye. What a blessing it is. Thank you Dr. Maxwell. How can you put a price on your sight? It's much more than an insurance payment.
