Dr. Donald Buddecke, DPM

From the very first visit until my post-op visit today I have had an exceptionally positive experience. Dr. Buddecke is not only an expert in his field, he cares about you. He explains everything he is doing and takes the time to make sure you are comfortable with the decision of what needs to be done and definitely cares about the outcome. He is extremely professional and very kind. I would and I will recommend him. His office staff, and medical tech that goes between offices is professional, knowledgeable and extremely consistent and competent. The outpatient surgical center was nothing but exceptional care and the nurses and NP that provided my Anesthesia was so professional and knowledgeable. I cannot thank Dr. Buddecke and his team for their kindness and warmth to me throughout this process. You are all amazing at what you do and give to others daily. Thank you. Sue Standish.

He x-rayed my foot, and it was not broke, which I did not think it was. He said I just needed to get the inflammation down which I can’t take anti-inflammatories cuz I have heart issues. He said he would treat it with compression. After putting on the compression for a few minutes, I was unable to keep it on. I contacted them the next day and ask him if it could be gout. He said he thought about gout but it wasn’t on a normal toe. Called back two days later and asked if I could be tested for gout or what I could do because I was in excruciating pain. I was never contacted I feel all he wanted was my money and didn’t care about my foot at all. I had to pay someone else because he did not do the job

It is apparent that Dr. Buddecke loves what he does. Everyone in the Bellevue office is kind and professional. They are great at listening, explaining, and answering questions. At Foot and Ankle Specialists, I never felt like a number, or on an assembly line. I would highly recommend Dr. Buddecke and his physical therapy staff. They made recovery as enjoyable as possible.

Complained about pain in my ankle before and after two surgeries. Made me think it's all in my head. Completely disabled me. Went to a specialist in another state and found out I need a bone graft and my ankle healed crooked. Have cronic pain syndrome. Need to have my ankle rebroken and the bone graft plus pins on too and the other side now just to fix what Dr. Buddecke failed to do for me in the first place. Years of hardly being able to walk or drive and living in constant pain.

I have had 2 previous reconstruction surgeries on my left foot/ankle. Both were performed by an orthopedic surgeon and both failed miserably. I visited with Dr Buddecke about a fusion surgery. He was very optimistic and honest about the outcome. He performed the surgery the middle of December and now I am able to put weight on it already and without pain! Best part is that he did not require a plaster cast. He trusted me enough not to put any weight on it for six weeks Thanks Dr Buddecke
