I saw Dr. Asmussen for suspected scoliosis and to address the symptoms associated with it. He was 30 minutes late to the appointment and did not acknowledge it. He asked where the pain was, then rushed me through explaining it saying "Yep" between every word I said. He then dismissed my symptoms and recommended I just deal with it and take painkillers for the rest of my life. He didn't even take X-rays to confirm what was going on with my spine. Office environment was generally unpleasant, unprofessional, and COVID-19 safety precautions were sloppy at the TRIA Bloomington office location. Don't waste your time!

He was very articulate & humane in explaining my spinal problem, therefore easy to work with, and he went out of his way to point me to additional resources. A year after my severe stenosis put me in a wheel chair, I can now hike and bike for hours without pain. Thanks!

Dr. Asmussen is excellent in his diagnostic care. His kind and caring nature really help to calm fears and build confidence. He is very articulate in explaining the nature of the problem and the solutions.
