Dr. Dominic Maxwell, MD

Brilliant, compassionate, and committed to the process of exploring, identifying, diagnosing, and finding the RIGHT and most effective treatment plan for his patients. Unlike many other psychiatrists, as well as GPs who prescribe antidepressants, he has exponentially more “tools in his toolkit” and will work with patients to try as many approaches as appropriate, available, and necessary until he finds what works BEST for the patient. In my opinion, this demonstrates that he understands and embraces his role and duty as a physician treating psychiatric illness to find the most effective treatment for his patients, so that they can live life as fully as possible. He reads medical journals, participates in medical conferences, and writes articles for juried medical periodicals himself. Dr Maxwell’s superb care and caring has changed my life and saved my life a few times, too. He is a wonderful practitioner, and I could not recommend his practice more highly.

Dr. Maxwell is a caring talented Dr. With a great understanding of teenagers. The very first time he saw my son he knew the medication he was prescribed was not right. Within 2 weeks my sons Tourette's all but stopped. After 3 more visits and some adjustments on his new medication he no longer shows any signs of Tourette's syndrome. His anxiety is gone and he is a confident happy teenager. Thank you Dr. Maxwell.

No matter how anxious I am, no matter how overwhelmed I feel, when I walk into Dr. Maxwell's office and see his smile, I know everything is fine. I don't know exactly how he does it, but when he listens to what's going on with me he not only understands but is able to describe the feelings and fears that I cant. The man is my hero. He has helped me through some rough times that I never thought I would get through. Because of Dr. Maxwell I am a better mother, a better wife and have a great life.
