Avoid if you can.
I was ordered by the court to have an evaluation done by Dr. Ferro. His evaluation was brief and relied heavily on accusations which provided a completely bias report. Why anyone would pay his exorbitant rate unless court ordered is beyond comprehension.

Find another therapist, completely biased
He is supposed to be an unbiased part of therapy with my partner. Yet, it is clear he made up his mind that everything I do or say is defensive, overly sensitive, always needing me to explain myself multiple times, yet tells me everything wrong with my answer, until the moment he decides he is finally hearing the answer he wants or one that fits his preconceived notion. Even going as far as to act as if I am trying to manipulate him to seeing my side of issues. Isn't he supposed to hear both sides of the issue and then make a judgement or give advice to both me AND my partner? He doesn't give anything I have to say any credence, & treats my partner as if every statement she makes is the gospel truth & like she has been doing her part in our relationship. We're in therapy, clearly both of us are failing, not just me. I have found that he is unable to hear me because all he wants is to hear more reasons why his first thoughts, & biased beliefs are the true answer. He is untrustworthy

I have been Dr. Ferro's patient for over 8 years and would not consider changing. Dr. Ferro is caring and insightful and very easy to talk to. He remembers things I told him years ago. I know that I am in good hands and that I can reach out quickly if the need arises and he will see me.
