VERY long wait times. Poor communication from office staff. Limited appointment availability.

I was referred to Dr. Sokolowski because I had post menopausal bleeding. I thought she was friendly, professional, informative and answered my questions. She recommended a D&C, which she performed and all went well. Unfortunately the result were not what I wanted to hear. She got straight to the point, but was compassionate and understanding. I think she is a very dedicated doctor who cares about her patients. I was so relieved and grateful to have been referred to her.

First, her office is old, there is no ultrasound provided to you, she will send you somewhere and you need to make another appointment just for the ultrasound. Unless you have a lot of time and flexible schedule, I don’t think this is practical. Second, her practice wasn’t professional. The nurse told us that I would expect a miscarriage because my HCG was dropping, but I didn’t feel any pains, so I requested an ultrasound to determine the fetus condition, they refused and said not necessary. At that point, they only offered me further discussion for D&C surgery. I didn’t believe in her, so I looked for second opinion. Six weeks later, the baby and I are still doing very well. I don’t understand how she could make conclusions without look at my womb. If you are first time mom, don’t recommend her AT ALL, she is pretty careless.

I wouldn’t want anyone but her by my side . She is down to earth and gentle . I can tell her anything. Love and appreciate her intelligence and gentleness . She delivered all three of my children . She’s very understanding and a true patient advocate.

I love Dr. Sokolowski and recommend her to everyone I know. She is honest, straightforward, has a great sense of humor and is practical. When I delivered my first daughter, she didn’t leave my side when I pushed for 2 hours!

D’nese has been my OBGYN for several years - delivering my two children. When finding a doctor you want someone who is professional, confident, knowledgeable, and most importantly compassionate. D’nese encompasses all those qualities and more. Nurse Lynn is a wonderful part of D’nese’s practice. She always paid strong attention to detail and communicated everything to D’nese. When finding an OBGYN I wanted more than just a doctor. I wanted a companion who would be there through my pregnancy journeys. I recommend D’nese to anyone looking for a quality OBGYN.

I started seeing Dr. Sokolowski after having two miscarriages and being at a practice where they didn’t seem to care. Doctor Sokolowski was amazing, she was compassionate, honest, and very helpful when going through two more miscarriages and then a healthy pregnancy. I love the extra attention and solo practitioner provides- from the receptionist to the nurse and then doctor, you feel so welcomed and part of a little family. For anyone looking for a wonderful doctor, choose Dr. Sokolowski.

I've been seeing Dr. Sokolowski for annual exams for about 5 or 6 years now, and she recently delivered my daughter. The care I received throughout my pregnancy was excellent and she was always ready and willing to address any questions and/or concerns I had. Though she wasn't present for most of my labor, she arrived in time for delivery and checked on me each day in the hospital afterwards. I feel very lucky to have received such excellent care.

Dr Sokoloski takes her time with you and makes sure to explain things so you can understand... She makes you feel very comfortable... I live an hour away but it is well worth the drive for the peace of mind you get after your visit.. I would highly recommend...

I have been going to Dr. Sokolowski for over a decade. She delivered both of my sons. She is very direct and genuinely cares about your well-being. She is extremely professional and is very knowledgeable about her area of expertise but posses a bed-side manner that makes you feel at ease when necessary.

Very welcoming and quick appointments

Dr Sokolowski delivered both of my daughters and provided care for me during 2 miscarriages. I have been seeing her for over 5 years now and she has been a wonderful resource for me through a period of great change in my life. Dr Sokolowski, her receptionist Irene and nurse Lynn are all very personable, caring and warm. I would describe them more like friends than just a medical provider. Dr Sokolowski goes above and beyond for her patients, providing a personal touch. It is always easy to schedule appointments. She takes time with me at each visit, I never feel rushed or like a number. She has even reached out to me proactively to make sure I was doing okay and that my concerns were answered. I would recommend her to anyone looking for an OB that will be a consistent care provider instead of cycling through a set of doctors.

Waste of time. Spent my whole appointment talking about which type of birth control would be best for me and I was to call when I decided. I called and they tried to sell me some other type of birth control that was never mentioned at my appointment because it was cheaper for them to order. My reproductive health came down to $$$. They told me if I didn't want the cheaper one then they weren't willing to help me. The tone the nurse used was degrading and unprofessional. It's ok to not offer everything but when it was all the doctor and I talked about and I made it clear what I wanted when I called they should have said something instead of wasting weeks.

I turned to Dr. Sokolowski for treatment during my first pregnancy and I couldn't have had a better experience. Dr. Sokolowski and her staff are kind, knowledgeable and have an excellent bed side manner. They take their time to treat you and answer any questions you may have. I have since delivered a healthy baby girl and plan to continue my wellness visits with this team in the future.

I couldn’t imagine a better doctor! Not only is she brilliant, she’s also caring, compassionate, down to earth & takes the time to know her patients. She delivered all 3 of my children. She’s been there through the good, the bad and the ugly and I always felt supported. If you’re looking for a doctor you can trust, look no further.

Dr. Sokolowski is an amazing doctor. I have been going to her for many years now. She did such an amazing job delivering my daughter 7 years ago and now I am currently pregnant again and couldn’t feel anymore comfortable knowing she will be delivering my baby. Her and her staffed are all very friendly and excellent to work with. I would definitely recommend her as your obgyn if anyone ever needed one!

Dr. Sokolowski provides me with excellent medical care. She is knowledgeable, respectful, and considerate. She takes the time to answer all of my questions thoroughly. At the time of my son's delivery, she did a wonderful job of facilitating the process despite a long and complicated labor. I highly recommend Dr. Sokolowski to any woman looking for an Ob/Gyn.

Dr. S & staff were incredible w/my wife during her pregnancy/delivery. I saw her treated w/ personalized care by people who actually got to know her. It’s hard to find a dr & staff like this. Dr S came in 1st thing every morning to check my wife after delivery (no waiting all day for a dr who shows up whenever) we felt we got better treatment bc of who our dr was. Before ANY medicine was given to my wife post delivery, nurses knew they had to check w/dr s. This is not the case w the group drs.
