Bittersweet
I didn't like how I felt I was getting the run around, however I do understand his reasons for it all. I have so much going on, and he want to make sure he knows how to treat me, for an better life of care. Now, calling in, that is the only problem as of now, other than that, I love the office and the staff!

I agree with those that had some problems with the appointments, however, overall, the staff tries to work with you and I found them, generally, pleasant. While Dr. Sorathia is not a talkative person, I found him to be a kind person, that will answer any question you ask him. He's knowledgeable and is on top of things. He, for example, saved me from a lung cancer I didn't know I had and took appropriate actions. I will not give him up, no matter what his ratings. This is why I give him a 5 star rating,

Go elsewhere
Doctor was okay, but the office staff is a nightmare! They never answer the phone, took over 3 weeks for them to call me back. Then they canceled the appointment at the last minute and tried to charge me for a missed appointment. I had people calling me for over 2 months trying to sell me sleep equipment. Go elsewhere if you can.

The staff at the front desk is not friendly or attentive to patients. When I was speaking to the receptionist, she turned away from me and began putting things away. The doctor is consistently very late in seeing me - usually averages 45 minutes after the appointment time and doesn't apologize for wasting my time unless I complain about it. Before I would recommend him, I would have to see vast improvement in patient service by his staff and the manner in which appointments are made, so that patients don't have to waste their time waiting for the doctor to see them.

I liked Dr Sorathia but the office is a nightmare I had a 930 AM appt on Sat the 28th , no one was at office, received a nasty text that Jenna was waiting for me at 6 PM,I never received a change of appts -office mgr was unprofessional when called , I cancelled my next appt and will not go back, the text was on my cell so if appt was changed it should be on my cell-no message about change

Dr Sorathia is fine, but his office is very frustrating. Took 3 months for the office to submit the paperwork to DME for a replacement CPAP. They said submitted, DME says wasn't. Went through this many times. Had to go to the office and have them send it while I watched. Problem solved. Now, DME requests proof of a sleep study. Same issue from office. Told to sign paper at office after 12pm. Show up after 12, not there. Call to find staff not there til 2. Wasted my time. Incompetent Staff!

One of the things I liked the most is Dr. Sorathia takes the history himself and talks with you to make sure it is thorough.

Minimal care, listened to lungs, listened to some of my complaints until I got upset. Sent me to ER to be seen and admitted. Was seen and discharged. Basically washed his hands if me. I feel embarrassed and humiliated. Was already seen at ER, was told to see my pulmonologist, pulmo sends me to ER telling me I'll be admitted and seen by him the next day, ER sends me home saying pulmonologist denies saying any such thing. In the mean time I still can't breathe, chest hurts and I sit at home!

Push a cpap on everyone, and had an temp who never relayed messages to him therefore had to pay $300 for a broken machine. His office and himself are totally unaccountable. Totally turn an burn operation. I wish I never went there. Worst experience EVER!!!!!!!!! And it cost me. Don't waste your time and money. Just straight horrible and regrettable.
