Dr. Divya Muthappa, MD

I highly recommend Dr. Muthappa and office staff. BUT I had to go to office to make appointment because contacting the office has been impossible the past 3 times I’ve tried for 3 different reasons. I hope it will be corrected soon as I really have had excellent experience with doctors, lab, and staff.

This office use to be the best. Since joining Conviva, communication has been impossible. Your calls to the office now go through Miami, FL. You can't send a message on the portal because it requires the selection of a facility and doctor from a pull-down menu. Unfortunately, no facilities or doctors are listed. Forget getting a call back. Apparently, my appointment was cancelled. I found this out while trying to confirm an appointment for a friend who is out of the country. Problematic when we have to drive over an hour to the office. Dr. Muthappa is wonderful but this becomes irrelevant when communication with the office is impossible.

I arrived at 9:55 for a new patient visit with Dr. Muthappa with all my paperwork already filled out. After waiting an hour, I finally walked out at 11:00 without seeing the doctor. Nobody came to explain if there was an issue or to apologize. I had taken time off from work. I took back my paperwork because I'm not interested in a medical office that doesn't respect my time or have the professional courtesy or office policy to handle delays properly. When I asked for my paperwork back, the receptionist offered no apology, no explanation.

Established here when we moved to Boerne. I found her to be friendly and unhurried. She listened and it felt like a discussion - she was thorough and practical in her approach. Looking forward to working with her more. For a first time patient, I was still in and out within an hour -- including patient history, vitals, my visit, some lab testing and even a blood draw at the inhouse Quest lab. Impressed!

Dr. Muthappa is "THE BEST"! She is knowledgeable, detailed, SO CARING and takes the time to listen! I have recommended her to several of my friends who are equally appreciative of Dr. Muthappa's care. Couldn't be happier!! I would give her 50 Stars if I could.........................

I cannot begin to express how well Dr. Muthappa has taken care of my entire family. Her compassion is endless and we could not be more pleased. She has diagnosed two early stage cancers in my family. So grateful.

Dr Muthappa seems to be a caring and competent physician. But, she definitely tries to see more patients at once than she can handle. Staff appears to have no leader (an every man for themself situation) operating on the verge of chaos all the time. God help you if you need to call back to clarify anything more complicated than an appointment. Each time I have I’ve been passed from one staff member to another with none knowing how to answer a question that should be prominently placed in my records even arguing with me at times. Follow up on referrals is a complete pain in the butt. Had to make four separate calls to get my records to a referral THEY made and even after that proved to be incomplete upon my arrival. For these reasons I have regretted getting started here. Am seriously considering changing doctors once my present health issues have been resolved. If you have any more than an occasional, simple illness I advise you to try somewhere else.

My husband are new patients with Dr mutthapa. She is very caring, listens and acknowledges our concerns. She explained very thoroughly our blood work results. We both enjoy going to the doctor now.

She's always so nice, friendly and welcoming. She's thorough, knowledgeable and I actually love going to see my doctor!

Fantastic doctor! Caring and patient. I would recommend anyone go to her.

Dr Muthappa is very caring and sincere. You don't feel rushed when you're with her and she takes the time to listen to you.
