Worst so-call psychiatrist I have ever encountered
I completed an extensive evaluation for ADHD which confirmed that I did have untreated ADHD. I was referred to this 'doctor' to obtain ADHD medication. Ms. Shah told me I didn't have ADHD and as far as my anxiety she said, 'You are young and pretty. You don't have anything to be anxious about.' WHAT? She refused to prescribe ADHD medication despite the professional, expensive, long evaluation I went through. I left her office feeling unbelievably traumatized. After my visit with her, ADHD med abuse showed up on my medical record. I have never taken ADHD medication. I have never abused any drug. If you are referred to this woman, don't waste your time, money or mental health to her judgmental approach, while she belittles, berates and gaslights you. There are psychiatrists that truly are understanding and work with their patients as well as committed to their oath to 'do no harm.' She clearly isn't one of them.

Great doc!
Dr. Shah is interested in her patients and takes their issues seriously. She has helped me more than any other Psychiatrist, therapist or doctor that I've ever had. As long as she is practicing I will continue to be in her care.

Traumatic Visit
Cried for 3 hours straight after this appointment. Save your time and money this lady is a quack who diagnosis' people before they even walk in the door. She doesn't listen, she interrupts. She basically called me a liar in every way possible. At my most vulnerable ever in tears she says "I have a license to keep people come in here crying to get.. well we won't get into that". I have a dianosis from a real doctor and have been coping for 15+years. Dr Shah missed to do no harm portion of her oath. She changed my mood stabilizer without asking my dose. Pharmacist told me I need to wean down before switch meds. This lady may be Doctor Death. Felt great going in left feeling like it would take days to recover mentally. Medical Gaslighting is real. Be your own advocate. Prayers to her victims.

Dr. Shah was incredibly rude, talked over me, and I have never as an adult been spoken to the way she spoke to me. She accused me of being a junkie due to the amount of medication a previous psychiatrist (who recently retired) had me on. She told me I needed detox and I asked for a recommendation of where to go. Her response was “You’re smart. Figure it out.” I do not need detox and I am not dependent on the medication. She had me labeled before she even met me. Luckily I’ve found someone MUCH better who treats me like a human being, not like a piece of trash, like Dr. Shah did. Stay far away.

Dr. Shah is horrible. She should not be a psychiatrist. I went to her to get medication for my debilitating adhd and she scoffed at me. she kept making me feel bad about myself and how long it has taken me to get through college. she didn’t offer me any assistance. i just felt as if i was being interrogated the whole time.

She labeled me as bipolar and made me feel bad about myself. For two years I have never had any doctor mention that I had bipolar. She refused to give me my prescription. Then prescribed said medicine. The whole appointment was rushed. I do want to thank the receptionist Casey for being so kind and understanding.

I agree with a previous reviewer. Very condescending. Does not make you feel comfortable. I felt that she was looking down on me. Doesn’t listen. Kept messing around on her computer and phone. Harped on medications I am on and prescribed by my family doctor. She made me feel worse about myself. I even went as far as not going back to her for several months because it caused me bad feelings and so much anxiety. I repeatedly asked for a new doctor but was told to give her another chance. No!
