Imagine having a doctors appointment while your doctor is driving in traffic not listening to a thing you were saying and is completely rude and has no idea what he is talking about and is doing a standard premeditated otc medication that he thinks is best even though you just explained to him that you've been taking that and it hasn't worked and that you have the same sinus issue every year and you need an antibiotic. Rude and power talker even though I could barely understand him through the accent and traffic noise from his hands free device

I had a virtual appointment for sinus infection. This doctor asked me to verify that all of my symptoms were in my head and not my body and then proceeded to prescribe medication for a cough and runny nose. He then told me that my issues were compounded because I'm fat and I aspirate mucus when I lay down to sleep at night. He did not listen to anything I said. Not a single word. He sent me two prescriptions based on seasonal allergies which is not my issue at all. If he had listened, he would have known that. The important thing to note is that he does not care what the issue really is. He speed-talked his way through the appointment and criticized old prescriptions from another provider without having any idea what they were prescribed for. I would not recommend this person to anyone.

I really appreciated the high level of care received on our telehealth appointment today. Thank you for taking the extra time to address all of my concerns and answer my many many questions.

He listened to me! I was so pleased with finallyhaving a doctor that didn't throw meds at my symptoms but instead treated me like a person, heard my concerns, and then provided me with the information I needed to finally begin to find an answer to what is happening to me.

I just got off the tele call with Dr. Parmar. He was very concerned and listened to me describe my symptoms and asked my input on treatment. Very pleased with my results.

I needed assistance with a uti that another Teladoc refused to give me antibiotics for because I couldn’t afford to buy pee test strips . Dr Parmar listened to my needs and symptoms and sent the needed medication in to the pharmacy. He was very personable and polite on the phone . He sounded positive and caring to my medical needs. I would like to have him as my general practitioner, but he does not practice in my state .

So absolutely poor. I am surprised that he hasn't learned some of the basics of how to engage with a patient. He did not listen or engage with me as a patient (or an intelligent human) but overtalked and would not stop with "his" point of view, which was not spot on. Please encourage him to study how to better communicate and listen to others vs. take a defensive posture. While he may have a degree in medicine, it does not make him a good doctor.

I do not recommend it!
