'Best.'Best in Cinci' (respected by those in field
& co-worker sister's surgery by Dr. Runk 20 yrs ago landed me where I needed to be. Her confidence & genuine/necessary demeanor for the seriousness of situation gained my trust (critical). Has to educate patient & support person, adapting to every personality and state of mind they are in. Thorough. Knows it forwards & backwards. Particular/runs a tight ship = she cares. Makes personal calls, at 6 p.m. one night. None of it pretty... but she saved my life. I'm beyond grateful. I have a new normal but get to live and spend more time with my family. Cannot thank her enough for her lifelong tenacity & the sacrifices she makes every day to help those of us diagnosed with breast cancer. Hope you can breathe deep, focus on your biggest priorities in life & lean on your best, most positive support person/system. You got this! And thank you to the young women who carry the BRCA gene being proactive. You gave me the courage to do what I needed to do. Don't wait.

Did not listen, rude
My mother had her breast removed because of cancer by Dr. Runk. She started feeling a small lump around the site that was painful to her maybe a year after the surgery. My mom then scheduled a office Appt. With Dr. Runk to check it out. Dr. Runk was rude to her and told her it was just scar tissue. My mom followed her own instinct and got a second opinion, it was cancer. She had to have another surgery, chemo and radiation.

Terrible person, terrible surgeon
The amazing arrogance of this woman knows no bounds. Sometimes a surgeon is so good you deal with them even though they aren't nice. She is a terrible surgeon. Do not see her

Dr Runk and Team are amazing
Cincinnati is so lucky to have Cincinnati Breast Surgeons and Dr Dianne Runk. Upon a routine mammogram turning non routine, they got me right in for additional same day testing and I got started on my route to treatment and eventual healing.

100% Amazing
When my Onocolgolist put me on something I could not afford, Dr Runk took control to recommend something I could afford. Cancer is no joke and very expensive. With my husband out of work, money is tight. You show that you care in many ways. I will always recommend you for anyone beginning their cancer journey. May God bless you always!

Dr Runk is extremely kind and passionate and the dedication she has for her patients is commendable. I am glad that I was referred to her.She tries the best to ease you pain physically and mentally both. I guess doctors like her are very rare to see these days.I can’t express enough in words how grateful I am to her.One thing which I really loved about her working style is that she takes quick actions and doesn’t keep you hanging, if she feels she can do something she does it right away.

That is NOT Dr. Dianne Runk's picture. Dr. Dunk did a breast lumpectomy and lymph node removals. She explained everything available for my situation. She drew diagrams for us. She encouraged us to ask questions. She called me back the same day when I thought of other questions. Her surgeries were neatly stitched and didn't look gruesome and, she saw to it that she gave me a clean perimeter each time. She was interested in my care. She is excellent.

Dr Runk is organized and thorough. Dr. Runk personally called me on the phone and fit me into the schedule. She walked my husband and me through the entire pathology report, staging, treatment options and next steps. She stayed to answer questions and talk to us after her staff left for the day. I left with a wealth of information and knowledge and the tools to make an informed decision.
