Dr. Diane Macdonnell is a rare combination of medical physician and acupuncturist. She is an excellent listener who takes her time, which results in effective treatment in a refreshing manner. I was treated over a several week period with acupuncture for a painful condition, which resolved without the need for anti-inflammatory medications or steroid shots. I will return for maintenance treatments, and I highly recommend Dr. Macdonnell for acupuncture.

Yes I would, and have recommended Dr. Macdonnell to my family and friends. She is warm and personable and she listens to your needs. I went there for acupuncture but I also talked to her about my general health and we found that I have several food allergies among other things in my general health. I have seen an improvement in my health since becoming a patient and I am looking forward to continued progress feeling healthy!

Dr. MacDonnell is definitely a 5-star physician. My wife and I have been going to her for over 15 years and in that period of time, she has helped us with back pain, carpal tunnel syndrome and neck and shoulder issues. During my earlier visits, I had such severe back pain that I could not even stand straight. She advised me from the beginning that we will know whether her treatments with acupuncture would be effective or not within six visits. It was indeed effective. And, since that time, we have gone to her once a month for maintenance and for other areas of pain as well. She has always been concerned about my overall health and takes the time to evaluate and explain various options available to me. I seriously believe that all insurance companies, including Medicare should cover acupuncture and other holistic services. In my option, any service that can help relieve pain without the use of drugs is a better choice. Her staff is also very professional and helpful.

Thanks to Dr. MacDonnell for finally diagnosing what is creating my health problems and helping me understand what needs to be done to fix them. The holistic approach has given me different ways to fix the causes of my health problems: blood diagnosis, diet changes, exercise ideas, stress relief techniques, and appropriate supplements. All have helped me. Acupuncture, too, has helped with my stress and blood pressure especially.

Looking for holistic practice, Dr. Macdonnell has been my primary physician for about 15 years. Routine exams were good though I feel there was an ease of subscribing meds rather than a holistic approach. My biggest disappointment was being told she was no longer my Dr. due to no contact when I recently called for an appointment. To be left without a primary care physician, with no effort of notification on her part, I feel is neglectful and very unprofessional.

Dr MacDonnell is an amazing, caring and excellent dr. She listens to your concerns and zones in on the issue and analyzes bloodwork like a scientist. She gives you various solutions in healing your body as a whole with a combination of holistic and traditional medicines. She is a wonderful dr and I recommend her to everyone I know. If you have problems and need answers, she is the one to give it to you. Her staff is excellent and friendly and make you feel like you are part of their family.
