Dr. Diane Heidmann, MD

Highly recommend Dr. Heidmann, the best PCP I've had! She genuinely cares and goes above and beyond, does a great job explaining medical issues and research, and is extremely responsive. Multiple times she has made herself available for my concerns even when her schedule is fully booked, and if she can't help with an issue she quickly refers you to someone who can.

Dr. Heidmann gave me very helpful suggestions without being judgmental. Followed up with a note and a call quickly. I felt comfortable. Hope other family members will be able to see her. Best recommendation, isn’t it?

Came in with intense left lower back pain after falling ten days before with no improvement no examination just I am willing to bet it’s a muscle go to pt and here are some muscle relaxers no blood test. No urine test WELL DOC I JUST WENT THROUGH A 4 hour surgery to remove huge kidney stone made me suffer a month longer with her horrible diagnosis. Horrible doctor

I just had my first visit with my new physician, Dr. Diane Heidmann, out of Northwestern. It was a video visit and I was very impressed. Dr. Heidmann was not only friendly and compassionate but she was extremely thorough. She took her time, letting me ask questions and made sure all my issues were addressed. I had heard wonderful things about her and am now confident they were all true. I am excited to have a wonderful new internist.

She is an excellent doctor who always is on the look out for anything unusual with my health. I would recommend her to anyone.

I overall had a very negative experience here at Dr. Heidmann’s office. I was 12 minutes late and i made to feel just awful about it. The doctor proceeded to put me on standby and wait over 3 hours before she saw me. When she did see me I could not believe how rushed and dismissive she was! I waited 3 hours for an appointment that lasted about 7 min! This was a very sad and disappointing visit. No transparency or compassion for this sick mama. I will not see this doctor again. I left the office in tears.

Nice doctor but she admittedly does not prescribe or help manage medications for those who suffer from anxiety issues.

Dr. Heidmann is the best doctor-I've ever had. She is very concern and knowledgeable. She is thorough. You wont leave her exam room-feeling like why did I schedule this appointment. Her explanations, suggestions, and diagnosis-help relieve anxieties and contribute to the visits being a success.

Dr. Heidmann has been my GP for about a year and a half. She's always friendly and professional. She listens to concerns while other doctors may think they are invalid. As someone who suffers from ongoing thyroid issues it is VERY important to me that I have a doctor that listens to all my concerns. I always leave her office feeling like I've been heard and properly cared for.

Dr Heidmann was patient, kind, and attitive to my concerns. She asked my health history with genuine concern. She offered a treatment plan suggesting lifestyle changes the we within reason.

Once she ordered all of the appropriate tests, she figured out what it was (after I had been misdiagnosed for years)! I highly recommend Dr. Heidmann because of her patience, care, and expertise.

First visit to Dr. Heidmann with my 96 year old mother who had recently moved to Chicago from Tampa. Dr. Heidmann combined a personal interest in my mother's overall health with a detailed clinical approach to her specific health issues. She SPENT TIME with my Mom, ordered followup labs and heart tests and set an appointment for one month later. I was with my Mom throughout the visit and was impressed with Dr. Heidmann's thoughtfulness and care and compassion.
