Worst physician I’ve ever seen
I honestly have no idea how anyone could say anything positive about this physician. She was not only the worst dermatologist I’ve ever seen, but the worst doctor. I don’t know if she was having some kind of horrible personal issue the day I saw her or what, but she was downright rude and 100% unhelpful in every way. I’m an ICU nurse and started experiencing what looked like hives all over my face during the height of the pandemic in NYC, when I was wearing an N95 mask for many hours straight. I was told it was Rosacea but none of the treatments I tried were helping. After telling her I had just been Covid tested, I pulled my mask down to show her my skin (bc how else would she make a diagnosis/recommendation)? She completely bit my head off like I spit in her face and yelled at me to put my mask back on. She then proceeded to tell me that nothing works for Rosacea redness and that was that. She was done with the appt. She also told me skin care is pointless and doesn’t work. AVOID.

Very Good
I had a plantar wart on my foot for months that wouldn’t seem to go away. Dr Leu was able to freeze it and it disappeared completely in about a month. Will definitely be back for any dermatology needs

Growth on daughter’s face
Completely unprofessional. Refused to see my daughter because she had a minor cold (I told her she tested COVID negative) because she needs proof of a negative test to go to daycare. She then said “I’m not comfortable seeing her because she is showing symptoms”. I am a working mother! I had to take off to get her seen! She has a growth on her face that this same doctor said “wait and see”. Now it’s doubled in size and bleeding. And she still refused to see my daughter. If she doesn’t want to see pediatric clients then she should say so and not call herself a pediatric dermatologist. From our interaction, I can tell she does not care about her clients. Completely unprofessional, with terrible bedside manner. She needs to get retrained and take some professional seminars. And the fact that she acted like the growth on my daughter’s face was nothing is very telling. Will be going to a real professional dermatologist. I only went to her because other dermatologists have waitlists.

Dr. Leu takes time to listen, very knowledgeable, always very pleasant, explains well all the issues and options to treat them. The office staff is very nice too. Each time I visit there is positive energy, and I always feel better after the visit.
