Dr. Diana Guerrero Betancourt, MD

After 30 plus years of coming to Huron Valley this was my first time meeting Dr. Guerrero. Aside from her excellent medical treatment she explained every step of my treatment and educated me on the how’s, why’s and what to expect during and afterwards. What a rarity to have a doctor show such a genuine concern especially in this age of “Fast Food Medicine”. I am truly grateful to have had her care, compassion and respect.

Experience was terrible. Addressed my husband in Huron Valley Hospital recently and when a family member tried to talk to her she couldn’t get away fast enough. Seemed to want to blame the diagnosis on only one thing and accused husband of having alcohol withdrawals. Only because she asked him to hold out his hands and claims he was shaking. This was absurd. Wouldn’t have her treat my dog.

Dr Diana Guerro is an uncaring, uncommunicative, narcissist. She allowed my father to suffer as he was dying because she refused to communicate with the family. She purposely rounds after visiting hours and refuses to call the family to provide updates. I was there every day waiting for her and she never came until after I was made to leave. I put my information on his board as I was told to do by the nurses and his primary care so she would reach out and she never did. Therefore we did not understand the severity of his illness and had no way to ask questions.
