Dr. Diana Domnitei, MD

35 years seeing psychiatrists in different places. Seeing Dr Domnitei for the past 6 years. She is by far the best of all. She is extremely smart and dedicates herself to getting you to understand and sole your problems. She takes a holist approach to your health both mental and physical. Somehow she diagnosed my sleep apnea by looking at me. Getting that fixed was huge. I have a masters degree and a good job with a big company. I came to her depressed and suicidal. Previous doctor gave medication. Dr d gave me insight into my real situation the ability to fix problems myself. I am so grateful to her for opening my eyes to a bunch of things and got me my basic health back. I am too busy to think about dying anymore. She is the very rare doctor who totally puts what is good for you ahead of what is good for maximizing her income. I am very grateful that she turned my life around.

Dr. Domnitei is an excellent psychiatrist who has helped find the balance that I need in my life. She has also listened to my concerns to better find the right medications for me. Highly recommend!

I like Dr. Domnitei a lot. She is competent, sensitive, and helpful. She is nonjudgmental, easy to talk to, and she has good and practical ideas. Most importantly, she is not at all arrogant, a problem w/ a lot of psychiatrists I've seen before; she never talks down to a patient; she is very respectful. There is no way for a doctor to know everything, and when she doesn't know about something she does her homework to find out about it. She seems to really care about her patients and she seems very genuine to me; I TRUST her, a huge thing for me. She is not a pill pusher either; she listens to what you're comfortable with and if you don't want meds, she will respect that if it's safe. She is good about staying on time and she helped me a lot with getting insurance forms, etc. done when other doctors didn't want to. Highly recommend this caring and competent doc!
