Dr. Diana Albay, MD

I will never see Diana Albay again as a patient. However, writing this review only to help others. Seemed very nice and caring at first but sadly true colors came out. TRUST in your health care provider is absolutely essential. When you lose that trust, you know it’s time to move on.

Dr. Albay closed her office doors within a week and now all my medical records are not available. Additionally, one of her staff called me the day the letter was being mailed to ask to reschedule my appointment to a date after the closure, knowing that they were closing the office. No transparency whatsoever and now I have to call multiple offices to obtain test results that she requested because she is no longer releasing patient information.

Dr. Albay herself is a great person with pretty good bedside manners. Unfortunately her lack of care or awareness about how her staff handle her office and her patients nullify all what is good about her. A simple scheduling an appointment or renewing a prescription is an impossible task at her Irvine office. I can understand holidays, shortage of staff, phone outages, sickness or other problems. But this has been a constant theme since I began seeing her about 5 years ago. UNPROFESSIONAL!

Absolutely terrible doctor. Waited in her office for over an hour and finally just left. Saw her before leaving and no remorse. Dr Albay have respect for other people’s time. I took time off from work to come see you and complete waste of time waiting for you. If you are running late, have the decency to let people Know and not make them wait. And yes while waiting for you we can hear you chat away with people in your office. Terrible doctor, do not visit. You might think you will have

She is extremely knowledgeable and looking forward to working with to determine what is going on with me. Just concerned about the capability of her front office staff that do not return calls.

Dr. Albay is VERY professional and has great knowledge and experience in her field. She listens and doesn’t interrupt with a conclusion. She examines thoroughly and goes through any history and blab results. Her staff is very polite and amazing compared to other physicians I’ve been to. I recommend Dr. Albay to everyone.

Helpful, well-run office. Dr. Albay is not only personable and compassionate, she is knowledgeable and keeps up with the latest findings and research. I give her my highest recommendation!

I literally cannot say enough WONDERFUL things about Dr.Albay! I have been her patient for over two years and Dr.Albay SAVED MY LIFE after she caught what my other long-standing endocrinologist missed, Because of my health issues, I need to see her almost every other month - but I GLADLY DO SO as she is the most INTELLIGENT, KIND and INSPIRING MD that I know! Her STAFF is GREAT and they make the office visits something to look forward to, not dread. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Dr.Albay to my friends.

I love Dr. Albay! She is very personable and understanding. She is thorough and explains everything clearly so patient understands what is going on. The staff is very friendly too. I highly recommend Dr. Albay.

Nice lady but her staff is the most incompetent I have ever encountered. It takes a lot of calling and coordination to get things right.

My reason for the poor-1 star rating is NOT for Dr. Albay's knowledge or her staff. My reason is because of the lack of Compassion and Understanding. Without notice, she sent me a letter dropping me as a patient for non-compliance. August, 2015 was my last visit with her with a 3-month followup. My 24 year old son was in an accident in mid November and he passed away in January 2016. She would not even talk to me on the phone or hear why I missed our appt. No Compassion, No Understanding.
