D. Kumar was the attending physician for my mother at St. John Providence Park hospital in Novi. During her stay at the hospital, it was impossible to obtain updates regarding her status even in face to face meetings. His communications skills are very poor. Oftentimes his responses to the family's questions were misleading or totally inaccurate. He claims that he encourages a team approach to treatment that includes the patient and family. That is far from the truth. Beware of this provider.
