Dr. Joshi took the time to listen to my concerns and answer all my questions with patience, making me feel truly cared for.The entire staff was equally wonderful—always helpful and genuinely warm. I appreciated how easy it was to communicate with them, whether by phone or through the MyChart app. It made managing my appointments and follow-up questions a breeze.When I experienced some pain after the surgery, I was amazed at how quickly Dr. Joshi made himself available. Dr. Devendra Joshi is an adroit & highly expert Surgeon on surgical procedures at MSMC. He recently did laparoscopy procedure (on April 16, 2023). This was my 2nd medical issue which he had resolved for me. Earlier, back in 2017, Dr. Joshi had done another surgical procedure successfully on me. Prior to the procedure, he scrupulously and conscientiously explained all aspects of procedure. I downright feel safe and confident in his hands. In fact, entire associating team members in the operating room at MSMC, and post recovery, from prep to finish were highly skilled medical professionals. They put me at complete ease prior to surgical procedure and after. Thanks, MSMC for the great doctors and staff.

Dr. Joshi performed a perfect operation on me, taking out a punctured appendix and a hernia. I was out of the hospital on the same day—at 71 years of age—feeling fine. I had little pain and was mostly back to normal the next day. He explains everything in detail, answers any inquiries within a day, and shows great patience and compassion. Upon telling my cardiologist in the same hospital that Dr. Joshi was my surgeon, he replied that he always refers his patients to him. He added that the one time that he referred a patient to another surgeon who also had a good reputation, he regretted it. I highly recommend Dr. Devendra Joshi. He’s a highly skilled surgeon who treats his patients as human beings.
