Meds are not called in on time
I am on meds that need to be renewed every month. I have to go into the office to request refills because the phone is not answered. My meds are past due and I had a lousy Christmas because of it. I need help!

I have been a patient of Dr. Desmond Paul-Coker for more than two yrs. He is a very good listener. He has been very good at addressing any health concerns that I have had, and willingly/promptly approved any appropriate test, xrays, etc. I believe he is a very knowledgeable, compassionate and proactive Dr. I have been completely satisfied with the care that he has provided. The office and support staff working with Dr. Paul-Coker have also been excellent.

As someone with a chronic health history, an active autoimmune disease, and who has been to a whole lot of doctors— this physician is amazing! Dr Paul-Coker was recommended to me by a coworker. Due to my need of needing to be seen ASAP, I was originally seen by someone else in the office and my experience was the worst. With the help of the practice management, they were able to get me seen by Dr Paul-Coker and that alone spoke volumes about their patient care. This physician is knowledgeable, caring, kind, included me in decisions, didn’t make me feel belittled, understood me, took time to explain information, and made sure I was comfortable with our plan before I left. He is an amazing physician and human. He is everything you’d want in an internist and I know why my coworker spoke so highly of him. After my internist shut down his practice unexpectedly, I was so concerned with how I could trust anyone else. I’m so grateful for the amazing bed side manner of Dr Coker!

Dr Coker has been my doctor for 4 years now. He is a fantastic doctor who listens to his patients. He has gone above and beyond, with referrals and working with insurance to get me the besr care he can provide. I feel like we're working together with my health needs. His staff is prompt, helpful and attentive. I would recommend him to anyone.

I took my dad to see Dr. Coker this am cause we were very unhappy with his current PCP. Dr. Coker was very pleasant. He sat in front of my dad and talked with him for about 20 mins answering ALL of our questions and oredered labs for some of our concerns. Staff was friendly and the office was clean. We will definitely be staying with him. Thank you so much for your care for my father.

The Doctor to my face told me he would have certain blood work and imaging done but did not request all the said tests. Then the office sent me to an imaging center that wouldn't accept my insurance. I was rightfully upset and complained and when I had them on a three way with Calviva, was told they wouldn't see me. All this after I had explained my PTSD issues, what calloused, incompetence, morally vacant pieces of papers walking around in scrubs.

This Dr seems to have no empathy. First visit, I had a small list on my phone to go over w him. He said he only had 5 minutes to spend w me. That should have told me to find another dr but I gave him a chance. Having a chronic life-long condition he referred me to another specialist, who wouldnt make an appt until Dr Coker ordered an MRI. He never did. I asked twice. The last visit when I demanded the MRI, he said i didnt need it and he got up and left me crying. I've never been treated so bad.
