Terrible experience. I agree with the other comment - zero stars.Avoid this doctor. We went in for a regular annual check up. I was in the room the entire time. Mr. Soong's office billed us for all these extra charges above a normal office visit. I have never seen a bill come after a regular annual check up before. Not sure if Derrick Soong or Virginia Mason Franciscan Health is to blame but I consider this to be stealing. I am disputing the charges because this is WRONG. Do not go to this doctor, it is also nearly impossible to actually speak to anyone if you have a question. It has been a completely impersonal and cold experience. Avoid and go elsewhere.

Dr. Soong does not see what is going on around him. He writes incorrect notes and did not help my child. My child was placed in danger because of him.

Amazing pediatrician. Very thorough, very knowledgeable. Kids think he is great. I'm hoping this helps them open up to him if they have private medical questions in the future.

After visiting Dr. Derrick Soong, our pediatrician, for our son's check-up, since a newborn baby we were thoroughly impressed with the level of care and attention to detail provided by Dr. Derrick Soong took the time to address all of our concerns and patiently answered our questions which we always have a lot, Their warm demeanor and expertise instantly put us at ease. We appreciate their holistic approach to our son's health and feel confident in following their recommendations. We Highly recommend Dr. Soong to other parents seeking a caring and knowledgeable pediatrician.
