I had to wait seven weeks to get an appointment, however Dr Raptis was very good. He seems to be up to date on the latest protocols, extremely knowledgeable, listened to what I said and wasn't rushing on to the next patient. BUT, the front office is a nightmare. I saw the doctor on Tuesday and he said he'd have two prescriptions called in. When my pharmacy hadn't heard from them by Wednesday afternoon, I called. Day after day I've heard excuses about why this hasn't happened, it's now Saturday and still nothing called in. I was told the doctor spends most of his time working in the ICU at the Pomona Valley Medical Center and the office can only send him texts. So I've now waited an additional week, trying to get some relief from my asthma. Not acceptable.

If you need and demand the best Doctor for Asthma COPD Dr. Derrick Raptis is the MD you deserve. A few key points: He's a relatively new doctor. What WAS considered as standard treatment is now NOT the case. The drug "Prednisone" jumps to mind. Old MD had me on TOO much. Dr. Raptis has me off it. I feel much better & my skin looks great. He is a kind, understanding Dr and he is always learning. Older ones don't keep up. N.B/ Space is a problem so I can't write everything, but he is the best !
