very good. I had the L4/L5 surgery way back in 2011 at Parker Hospital. Now my L3/L4 is bad and I sure do wish Dr Cho was still here. He was top notch!!! I still remember him, all these years later and tried to find him here in Denver. He moved to Texas! I am sure that I can find someone else like him up here but it would have been so much nicer if he were still here!!

I went in with lower back pain & after some testing found out I had 2 herniated disc. Dr. Cho did my surgery fixing my discs. I had no pain from my back surgery. Dr. Cho is an excellent doctor & listens to what you have to say. I would highly recommend him to anyone having back pain.

Thank you DR.CHO I met Dr.Cho looking on-line for a good doctor to relieve the severe back pain I been having for years . So I chose the imaging center, and very quickly I was seeing a doctor, when Dr. Cho walked in with my chart C-scan, X-rays in his hand,introduced himself shook my hand and said are you ready for surgery and I replied No. So he proceed and said you have three options shots,chiropractor, surgery so I chose the chiropractor. Dr. Cho said I will see you in a month. I sat in my car and thought this doctor really cares about my health, because he knew I was making the wrong decision. So I went to the chiropractor one day and knew the disc in my back had to be removed. So within two days I called made appointment. Dr. Cho walked in and asked are you ready for surgery and I replied Yes. Dr. Cho asked what happened at the chiropractor, well it's for joints and spine. Dr. Cho is a very serious doctor who cares and excellent with his skills, the disc replace on 6/27/2022.

I had injured my back lifting a large rock. Dr Cho Stated he could fix it (using balloons and cement) and I could go on my family gathering (in 3 days) and that there was no recovery time. I did not believe that was possible so instead I wore a body brace for the time I was there. I had hoped it would set off alarms when I entered Busch Gardens, but they didn't as they are made of plastic. When I returned, I went thru the procedure. His team was friendly and professional. His anesthesiologists are masters of their profession. When I awoke. I felt great. There was no pain or discomfort. I felt normal. I was embarrassed that I had not believed him. He is a wonderful surgeon. He explains to you exactly what he intends to do. He tells you all possible outcomes so that when you choose it is your decision. He has a wonderful wry sense of humor. He is straight to the point and does not mince words or waste time. I love showing people my two tiny dots and telling them the whole story.

I was referred to Dr. Cho due to severe pain in my lower back and numbness in my legs and feet. He scheduled MRI, XRAYS, and CTSCAN, all of which verified his initial diagnosis. He explained in detail my options, which were surgery, shots, or do nothing. I opted for surgery. He then proceeded to deal with my insurance provider to verify payment of services. It came as quite a shock when the request was denied. I called Meghan, Dr. Cho's office manager, to find out what I needed to do. She said they would handle everything, and apparently, they did. Less than a week later I received a very apologetic letter from the insurance company saying after further review, the surgery was covered. I had the surgery about two weeks later and all went well. It's not a quick recovery, but I'm heading in the right direction, and so far, the difference is remarkable. I will always be grateful for Dr. Cho and his staff for helping me in any way they could.

Dr. Cho is the man!! I went to him with severe leg pain caused by a bulging disc that was compressing my sciatic nerve. I was in tremendous pain. He gave me all my options, explained everything in detail in a way I could understand. I elected to have surgery. I had a microdiscectomy July 1, 2022 on L5-S1. He came in for pre-op and explained everything again and took the time to answer the questions I had. Having him do this surgery was the best decision I've ever made and I have absolutely no regrets. Today is exactly 3 weeks since my surgery and I am completely pain free!!!! If you're having similar problems and are on the fence about surgery, Dr. Cho is the best and has given me the results and relief I had been seeking. He gave me my life back and for that I will be forever grateful. I highly recommend Dr. Cho to anyone and always will. Thank you Dr. Cho!

Went in with left arm numbness, weakness, and pain; Dr Cho reviewed my MRI and discussed possible solutions in a manner that made sense to me. I chose the injection in hopes of avoiding surgery, but it did not work. Went back approximately a week later and it was determined that a disc replacement would be best even though a fusion of multiple vertebrae is as I took it likely an outcome. In pre-op Dr. Cho explained again that fusion may be necessary but replacement is the hopeful outcome. Aftermath, within a week and a half I quit taking the meds, no pain, strength returned, but still having some numbness. Spoke with Dr about it and he broke it down to my level of understanding where I learned nerve numbness is the last to go back to normal. Case in point, June 14th surgery and yesterday July 4th full recovery because I was able to do a major car repair on my wife’s car. Absolute Excellence!

The doctor explained to me,(MIR) I was able to make a decision for me, I'm truly pleased with the amount of pain relief I felt after surgery,I thank God for Dr. Cho. My family and friends,saw me before and after, wonderful job!

I broke my back and crushed a vertebrae, thank God I found Dr. Cho. My surgery was scheduled, he answered all my questions in a way I could understand. There was a problem with the patient be for me so he gave me the opportunity to have my surgery late in the day or the next morning, I felt only a compassionate person would have done this. On my first visit after surgery I had no pain anywhere but the surgical site, that was fantastic.

I was having pain in my right leg. It had gotten really severe. I had an appointment with Dr. Cho and had an MRI. He saw a cyst in my lower back that he said was causing the pain. He did a minimally invasive surgery and removed the cyst. I have no pain at all after the procedure. I would highly recommend him to anyone in pain. He was very attentive and answered all my questions. He has renewed my confidents in Doctors.On a scale of 1 to 10 I rate him a 12!!

Dr Cho did a laminectomy to relieve my hip and leg pain. The surgery was a complete success and went off without a hitch. I have completely recovered in less than 6 weeks and no pain. I would definitely recommend Dr. Cho.

I am very pleased & thankful for Dr. Cho. He explained my options & did not get upset that I chose to try the brace first. After 3 weeks of the brace and extreme pain from a broken vertebrae, on my return visit, I talked with him more about the surgery. He did not rush me. He explained everything in detail. After the surgery my only regret was that I didn't go ahead with surgery as my first choice. Dr. Cho took the time to show me the before & after x-rays. It was amazing to see. I trust Dr. Cho completely & would highly recommend him to anyone. Dr. Cho is a friendly, & caring person. Most importantly, I feel he really is the best choice for surgery. I even received an extremely nice letter from him afterwards thanking me for the trust & confidence I granted him in providing for my care & surgical needs. How many doctors does that? In the future if for some reason I would need surgery I pray Dr. Cho is still in Montgomery, AL. I was very please with everyone at his office.

Dr. Cho is scary. Scary how he spent less than a minute with me. Scary how it was just to schedule out MRI that he said could take as long as another week or two...mind you, I am in a world of PAIN! Then I have to place calls to even get a nurse to call me back and tell me what it said....and I quote," it shows stenosis; narrowing at passageways where nerves are on both sides, but you have to jump thru certain hoops with certain insurance before you can get surgery." Another referral, another wait. Yo, Cho...you know where you can go!

Just found out he is no longer in Huntsville he did my neck surgery would highly recommend him such a great person

Dr. Cho is such an excellent surgeon and surrounds himself with excellence! He has done two major surgeries that I required on my back. I would be willing to go to Montgomery from Huntsville for his care if I ever needed it again!

Where is Dr. Cho? He did my daughters back surgery and now he is no longer with the Huntsville office. She loves him and would love to know where he has gone. Can anyone tell us where he is practicing now?

I had spent 4 years trying alternatives before I was referred to Dr. Cho to which I'm very thankful. Immediately after my surgery, I was pain free. Dr. Cho was so kind and treated me with the utmost respect as did Nurse Meredith. To have Dr. Cho correct my back issues was ONE of the best decisions I've made in my 69 years. Listens intently to patient complaint of problem, Quick assessment was given from MRI, detailed explanation of choices and possible outcomes. Minimal invasive surgery of L-5 was done in one hour outpatient surgery, completely relieved 6 months of pain! His sincere desire to have God use him to relieve pain was an answer to prayer. Highly recommend him, his PA, and nurse as outstanding practitioners.

I went to see Dr. Cho after he was highly recommended by my brother-in-law who had recently had back surgery by him for similar pain that I was experiencing. I will simply say that I will certainly recommend Dr. Cho to anyone without hesitation, he and his staff were outstanding before, during and after surgery. I remember telling Dr. Cho on my last follow-up visit that it was one of the best decisions that I had ever made and now several months later I feel even stronger about that. I actually remember feeling that I wished that I was in a position to have the positive impact on the lives of others that Dr. Cho has had on my own. God bless YOU Dr. Cho, you are in my prayers!
