I had a totally amazing experience at Dr Parkers office! My Lasik surgery was a great experience in its self. And being able to have 20/20 vision after surgery was so Awesome. After 13 years depending heavily on glasses and contacts, I love being able to Actually See!!

The very idea of LASIK could be intimidating or stressful to the uninformed. Under the care and preparation of the Eye Care Specialists Dr. Shawn Parker with nurses and staff I was completely informed and ready. Today is 7th of August, just one day after procedure and my vision in each eye is 20/20. Two days ago I was legally blind. Thank you to Dr. Parker, to Shonda, and to the many nurses! LASIK is Life Changing!

My experience with Dr. Parker and his staff was very good. LASIK went very smooth. A suggestion to include a link to inform any new LASIK patients about the procedure. This would be a better preparation for Dr. and patient alike before the actual appointment.

It was super easy and they made me feel really comfortable. Very friendly staff and doctor. I will definitely recommend to anyone who needs vision help.

Dr. Parker was very thorough in his explanation of the LASIK procedure and answered all of my questions. The staff was very informative and friendly and made me feel at ease. I am so happy that I chose him to perform my vision correction surgery! I couldn't be happier with the outcome!

I went to Dr Shawn Parker for a Lasik consultation. My appt was at 3. I was not brought back until 330. Once the initial assesment was completed, it was another 45 minutes until the actual doctor came to speak with me. When he did, he did not introduce himself, he spoke very quietly and so fast I could barely follow what he was saying, and was out of the room and handing us off to Shonda for financial options before I could process what all he dumped on me. He spoke to me barely 5 minutes, and was rude when I did ask questions. I understand he has said the same thing to patients for years, but I have never heard the speech, and could baly process what he was saying much less form a coherent response. It was like he was trying to blow through the consult to get through the last visit of his day. Everyone else in the office was very nice, and answered questions, but as far as Dr Shawn Parker goes, I will be going to St Louis for my Lasik surgery.

I chose Dr. Parker to perform my Lasik eye surgery based upon reviews and research and am so happy I did. The staff was amazing. I felt so welcome and anytime I called with questions they were more than happy to help. My consultation went so smoothly and all my questions were answered by Dr. Parker thoroughly. I really worked myself up about the actual surgery and recovery, but it was painless. When I woke from my nap after surgery I could SEE and it just keeps getting better! So happy!!!

Awesome doctor. Excellent surgeon. Would have gone to St Louis for eye care until I found Dr Parker. Same training and expertise here in Cape. Following my surgeries my husband had both cataracts done too.

To summarize, I spend most of my childhood and young adulthood in doctor offices, hospitals, etc...what I experienced at Dr. Parker's office, both from him, his staff, and the office itself, should set the standard that all other medical professionals strive to emulate.

Saw for 1st time..loved the promptness of office staff...was very impressed with Dr.Parker..very thorough,nice to have a dependable Dr...I will be returning, highly recommend
