Dr. Derek White Jr, DO

Came to dr white with multiple issues, explained to him I have had nerve pain for years & I have been coughing with post nasal drip for months, also explained I felt something in my leg. He DID pay attention to my leg, which is why I won’t give one star, but he completely blew off my chronic pain and gave me pills for muscle pain after I clearly said I wouldn’t take pills, and that it’s not muscle pain. Didn’t even bother to check my sinuses or my throat or give me anything to help with this cough (months after my visit, it’s still persisting, I’ve now had a cough for 6 months.) I was told I HAD to do physical therapy for an MRI, and that it would be covered, but months later I never heard anything about scheduling the MRI and I now may be $2k in debt because PT is not covered. I’ve had many negative doctor experiences, but this one is up there. I much prefer the sweet student from New York who comes in beforehand after the nurse is done. She is much more attentive.

Dr. White listens and does all he can to help you! He is very caring and compassionate and has been a blessing to me!
