BAD DOCTORS - RUDE RECEPTIONISTS
To start- this office is always busy and will likely get you in and out in under 5 minutes without actually analyzing any of your medical history or addressing any of your worries. The front desk ladies here are EXTREMELY rude and condescending. I forgot to make an appointment to have my medicine that I take daily refilled and asked if there was any way to get in sooner than one week away. The lady on the phone then belittled me and speak to me in such an unprofessional manner. I've been on medicine for my ADHD since I was 6 years old, and when I went into the office recently Dr. Thompson told me that it was 'time to grow up' and that I won't be able to have my medicine forever since ADHD medicine is 'for children only'. This alone shows how outdated this doctors medical knowledge is and I personally find this mentality extremely dangerous and worrisome. TL;DR: Doctors are old and have outdated medical knowledge- Front desk ladies are probably overworked and thus rude to patients.

Nice doctor but their billing department very bad . Got charged double copays about 4 times in last 2 years costing me an extra 80$ . Even with the insurance calling them and being on my behalf they still wouldn’t take off the double charges . The insurance told me they would make them pay me back if it happens again . I would rather not deal with the headache of fighting them so found another doctor. They should consider bringing billing back to their local office instead of letting someone far away handle it .

From the care my relatives have received from this practice, I cannot leave more than a 1 star. Urgent phone calls never returned. Prescribing meds that require more investigation and blood work first, with the impression of just getting patients to leave them alone. Not good at managing things like renal disease or diabetes.

Great doctor! Not at all condescending or short tempered as some can be. Kind and funny. Answered all my questions and made sure I was taken care of by his staff as well. Highly recommend!

Terrible doctor. He doesn't care about his patients at all. Ignored me when I was in horrible pain. Staff wouldn't even schedule a colonoscopy for me that I needed. Now I have to look for a new doctor.

Love Dr. Derek! He listens to you which is the most important thing a doctor can do. He has a wonderful bed side manner, and a sense of humor. Hope to have Dr Derek as a family physician for many years to come.
